The rental listing was a bait and switch and the counter employees didn’t have a strong grasp of policies or options. They pushed hard for me to upgrade from the managers choice which was apparently electric to a gas car. I was fine with electric but they warned me that it had to be brought they back at 95% charged or I would receive a fee, and that charging would take many hours. Not sure that is actually the case as several things they said were inconsistent. In the end, I was pressured into the upsell, which is never a good feeling. High pressure sales stink.

My flight was being constantly delayed by JetBlue.. So I was able to get a flight to West Palm Beach.. I went to call the company that Kayak gave me for a rental (RentalCars.com) and they kept saying that there were no cars available in West Palm Beach (PBI).. Yet I was able to get a car through another company very quickly.. I had my wife, a 5 year old with Autism, an 18 month old, and a mom with a disability.. They refused to help me refund my money after I told him I got the rental within minutes after he was "searching"

Car was fantastic and we had no problems throughout the fortnight. However the wait for a car took an hour and a half. We were upgraded to an SUV as they had no small cars, this was free and we were very happy with this. However on our return we were charged for fuel even though I had filled the tank to 7/8 and the check in guy put 6/8. Also they tried to charge the wrong card.

I was FORCED to pay almost $200 extra for auto insurance I didn’t need. I told them that my auto insurance covers my rentals. They told me, “no. You need this one. I will just give you the minimum. Don’t worry.” They wouldn’t ALLOW me to decline, but on rental agreement it says “accepted” insurance. I DID NOT ACCEPT. I was FORCED to have it.
