Everything was perfect!

I did the managers choice option and it was great. The car wasn’t spotless but I was ok with that.

Be aware that all rental cars in Seattle are in a separate facility a close distance away. You pick up the bus to all rentals in Seattle at the East end of the main terminal

Very bad experience at pickup. There was no clear sign of where we pick up the car, and we looked around for sometime until ran into a budget staff. We went to the car with the staff, the car is located in a dark area of the garage and the staff didn’t remind me to check the car Very carefully or give me a check list. I looked around the car quickly ( a big mistake), the car was just washed and looks clean/new and we drove it out, pretty much straight to Vancouver (eat a lunch and fill up the car along the way). In Vancouver car return,there was no sign for the returning garage and we circled around the building (asked the budget staff) several times before returning the car. Upon returning, the budget staff instantly saw a missing piece on one edge of the bumper which I did see any problem right away even after he pointed it out to me the location. I then realized a piece (~ inches in size) was missing ( I assume it had been cleanly cut off ). I had to fill up the paperwork and stated clearly that I didn’t do it. ....

Due to a change of plans we canceled our reservation. We always like Budget.

Made a reservation with a great price via Kayak for Thrifty. Then set up loyalty account so I could use dash-and-go car pickup. Had to contact Thrifty via FB messenger. After 3 hours they told me in chat that the only way they could add the loyalty number was to cancel and rebook. Doubt I could get the great price again! Another 2 hours and chat checked in to see if I needed any add'l help. No confidence with a car company that cannot manage data input better than this, no confidence my car would be adequate and/or my paperwork simple.

The easy pick up and drop off. Everything was enjoyable

regualr service but they will lie to you and saying liability insurance supplement is mandatory charge. And once your sign it, they wont refund you.

it took over 1/2 hour, maybe even 45 mins to get through the line to get the rental car. it smelled like smoke or something gross in the car. took another 10 mins to get out of the parking lot due to the line. because of all this (and my flight had a slight delay) i wasnt able to make my appointment in seattle, which was annoying. my husband always pushes me to use hertz because its supposed to be better, but i disagree...

The signage at Sea tavern for Hertz could be much better

They cancel my reservation bc no cars available they wasted my day ☹️

Nissan Versa was not a great car. Idled poorly and wiper blades were worn out. Pickup and drop off were quick and easy!

Rental location in Seattle was confusing to get to. Once we figure out where to go they almost gave us a car with expired tags. Check in process was very long. Second car they gave us was never inspected or walked through with us. The car play function with is what we needed would constantly go off and on (tried multiple phone cables, phone projection/Bluetooth separately with no success) which made it extremely difficult to use for our West Coast drive from Seattle to San Francisco.

Someone left underwear in the back seat, the drop off was closed, it was a nightmare retiring the car

I wait 30 minutes in line to get to the Avis counter to pick up my rental; that I had booked online and performed my pre-pickup registration to allegedly make the process easier. Then it is 10 minutes at the counter. My card is in the machine and the worker is down the way calling the garage for my car. Then she returns (after another 5 minutes) with the manager to tell me there are no cars for my destsination, and that allegedly, there haven't been any for 24 hours. And that the online system should not have allowed me to make a reservation. Maybe true, maybe not. Because while I was waiting on the salesperson to call the garage the salesperson to my left is selling a rental (one-way to the same location that I'm headed) but at 1.5x the price that I booked online. So, you tell me. I don't know if they guys next to me got a car or not because I was rushing to the next car rental locations but since it was 1 AM, they were all shutdown. Avis wasted my time, screwed up my plans, and made it almost impossible to find an alternate plan, resulting in me having to get a hotel room.

I had to get a rental car at last minute after my flight was canceled. I tried rental car counters at random trying to find a decent deal. Avis was by far the best! And their staff was super friendly and helpful!
