I booked this car rental for pick up at the SeaTac airport. Once I arrived, there was no rental waiting for me even though I prepaid for it. Turns out, this website booked it for the hertz in NORTHERN SEATTLE. And since my flight was delayed, I had a half an hour to get to northern seattle to pick up the car I paid for before they closed. Not to mention I had my 4 kids and husband with me. We were then stuck between a rock and a hard place, so we had to rent another car. Once trying to get a refund because of the mess up, I was told since it was after the scheduled pickup I couldn’t cancel or get my money back. We will NEVER use this website ever again. Especially for car rentals. $1000 f up.
Kayak screwed up. Address of rental car was not at airport, but 61 miles away in north Seattle. will never use Kayak again.
Didn’t give me the car. Said it was sent to another facility. Just took my money
The day of my rental, Hertz called me to tell me there were no cars available, however I reserved one on Kayak. My flight from Seattle to Portland was cancelled and I needed a car to get home. I was stranded.
There was no car! Reservation meant nothing!
They couldn't honor the reservation, as no cars were available.
When I arrived they couldn’t find my confirmation number and had zero cars to rent so I had to go to another rental place and had to pay $600 for what they had! It was an expense I wasn’t prepared for to say the least. And the people at the enterprise counter were very rude and not helpful at all. I’ll never go through enterprise ever again.
The staff were very friendly and more than happy to work with you. Being from out of state there were some difficulties but they were instrumental in making them easy to deal and smooth.
When I was looking through the car there were fries and pringles under the seat. I do think a little more transparency about fees and processes would have been nice, however, the fault is on both sides as I did not explicitly say I was from out of state when they called to confirm.

Can you please they gave me an SUV in the middle of a winter storm warning with frozen washer fluid lines, not to mention once the lines unfroze after 4 hours of driving, I had to fill the washer fluid. That is crazy, not to mention VERY DANGEROUS!!!

Like: Easy website experience (via Costco). Kudos to the friendly staff at Avia (Kent location). Nice vehicles. Easy pickup and convenient drop box for after hours returns. Can be Better: Make it easier to find the nearby off airport options. The rental rates varied significantly between on-airport and nearby off-airport locations. Had to shop around to find the off airport rate.
Office was closed when we returned car. We were never informed that office closed at noon. Had to leave car and put key in door without a proper check-in!
The downtown location at Avis was great. When I did not realized that I booked it for downtown, I went to the airport location. The staff person there was not that helpful and seemed irritated that came to the wrong place by accident
