We have been given a car (Buick Encore) of a lower category than the one booked and paid for. (Mid Suv ex Mazda Cx 5). There was no GPS booked and paid (then discounted from the final price). The explanations at the time of pick up and drop off are too hasty. Bad experience.
I liked that they made it very easy to pick up the vehicle. The cost was great for the vehicle. HOWEVER.......It was DIRTY inside AND outside. The back passenger seat belt was broken behind the front passenger seat. And the hours of operation are horrible to be so close to the airport.
They did not have cars available and wanted to put me in a smaller vehicle than what I paid for then ended up charging me $40 a day for a vehicle that would 5 people. They also included more taxes than what was stated in the agreement. They charged me 2xs at drop off and would not refund me for the 2 charges for $233
The vehicle was very nice plus a low price. Workers at hertz were very hospitable. Only thing could've been better was one tire was low on air and didn't have a cap.

The service was fast and friendly. Kia actually consumed very little gas.
The Enterprise agent steam determined to increase the price of the rental
You desperately need to fix your system's integration with Enterprise's system. I modified the booking a couple times on Kayak, but Enterprise didn't get alerted to the modification. The emails I received from Kayak had the wrong pick-up locations for Enterprise, but again, because Kayak didn't properly relay the pick-up location to Enterprise, I ended up going to the wrong location. This costed me $40 to take an Uber to the correct location as well as a 2-hour delay in pick-up, almost causing me to miss my drop-off time. I should get some credit for this hassle, which is totally Kayak's fault.
Great and low price
Car rental company was closed when we arrived on Saturday 2p.m. Had to take a taxi to midway airport to a different Enterprise dealer who gave us a car but for double the price!! Never will I book a car again this way!
Drop off was easy.
I did not like that the car that I chose was not available. This place has limited options. It took about 30-40minutes to get my car rental since they had to clean it. The car also did not have a full tank of gas. Recommend going to another place.

The car was great, and the staff was helpful and professional. The pricing, and terms were as expected and there was no high pressure for extras.
When I got there, there were no cars! I thought renting from a non airport location would save money...it did. But had to wait an extra hour for a car to be returned and cleaned. When time is tight, be cautious about inventory claims. The non-airport locations have a very thin supply, in my opinion.
The car I wanted was not available although I booked it 2 months in advance. I had to downsize my vehicle and they charged me more money. Not fair at all. I will never rent from a neighborhood rental place again. Especially not an AVIS/BUDGET.

The young gentlemen at the front desk counter was very unprofessional and rude. He canceled my reservation and told me that he doesn’t need my business.
I honestly think that there is no help for this location. Unless they hire new people who are professional and friendly towards the customers.
Staff and service was very good.
I had booked a car Chevy Malibu or similar. They said I could only have a VW Beetle unless I paid additional fee and that they strongly recommended I upgrade given the performance and size of the VW.

Our car was not available at Hertz. And as of today I still have not been refunded for the insurance package. Absolutely pitiful program that allows people to rent cars that don't exist and get charged for insurance on a car that does not exist.
The car was ok. It obviously wasn’t checked for the issue with the driver’s side door. There was a creeking noise. I ended up having to call roadside assistance because the door would not close. I got a text message saying the ETA was 2 minutes. They showed up 3 hours after the initial call. Very poor communication between Hertz and the tow truck company. I was told that I can exchange the car at the airport. There were no cars available at the airport. Clearly there there is no communication between customer service and the rental location. After all was said and done I lost 5 hours because of the poor level of service from Hertz. Very disappointed.
Hertz did not have a car despite reservation. Had to look elsewhere and spent $1100 rather than the initial $300. Terrible job, Kayak!

There was not the vehicle promised and no solution. I ended up not using the service.
I never got my pre payed rental & took 1-2 days to even get an apology.
Have the vehicle available for use per agreement. Very, very simple!
The people at Hertz, particularly Peter and the store manager, were fantastic. Super helpful when Priceline gave me the wrong pick-up time.
Priceline and Kayak told me to arrive at 5PM to pick up the car, and when I arrived Hertz told me they close at 5 and final pickup is 4:45. Priceline and Kayak should be telling people these things! They shouldn't say "arrive at 5" when that's the closing time. It almost ruined my trip, but fortunately the people at Hertz broke the rules and let me in to rent their last car.
