Cheap Car Rentals in Phoenix from ₹ 3,608

Interior of the car had discarded trash. Car was returned on time but in examining the bill I was charged a $600 late fee. Called Budget and they said they would send me a credit to my credit card.

Availability and easy to rent. The car I got seemed not be cleaned in and out.

Very efficient process to pick up the car. I was given a very comfortable SUV at a fair price. No complaints whatsoever.

They did not have the Camry I booked, so they gave me a Cadillac instead. Pick-up and drop-off was easy.

Pick up and drop off was quick and easy. But very disappointed in my bill. I prepaid for this rental for 4 days, being sure that I was getting unlimited miles. After drop off I received a bill for additional fees, including fuel at $5 a gallon because the person at the desk at pick up told me not to fill up before drop off. I could’ve filled up for far cheaper and would’ve been happy too if I hadn’t specifically been told to not fill up. I was also charged a fee for it being an airport pick up. Won’t be using Payless again after this, there are much better companies to rent from for similar prices.

I had to cancel my trip and I tried to talk to a costumer service who was very unhelpful

One person checking out cars. You share same space at phx with Avis. Avis had several agents help Avis customers Took 40 minutes to get my car. Avis was getting their people out in under 5 minutes. If you need the same counter space, and same agency in Phoenix, then you need to step it up with Payless or close down it’s sucked.

Line up at the airport was not good at all. Also once we finally got served, as we waited for our vehicle ( again in a long line ) it became apparent that when you gave a sneaky tip that you got serviced much faster. Poor service at pick up. But the car and value for Money was good.

Arrived at PHX airport to pick up a rental, for which I had a reservation. Huge lines were waiting for me and I didn’t even get half way through the line in 30 min of waiting. Some of the employees started making announcements that they weren’t taking walk-ins anymore and only those with reservations would be provided a vehicle. No one moved from the line. About 10 min. later, a frustrated customer left the desk and started telling the others waiting in line that she had been waiting for a rental car since yesterday evening and was told again today that there weren’t enough rental cars currently available and that it may be 10:00 PM before they have time to clean the vehicles returned today. Horrible inventory management, only 4 employees working the counter during the peak time of the day, poor customer service. I was only renting a car for five hours of the day, so I decided to skip the rental and take an Uber. Didn’t get my money back even though I wasn’t provided with a service/product. Definitely will not use Thrifty again.

Not worth the “savings”. They’ll try and say you drove X amount of miles over your allotted free amount only to overcharge you thinking you won’t notice. They refueling fee is a giants scam and it was overall not a good experience. Not recommended.

The rental pickup is fast without human interaction which may save money BUT the major problem is when the rental car has problem. My rental had a problem keeping the rear hatchback up which nearly caused serious injury to my body. There is nobody on the premise to complain and get a different safer car. Also the rental lot was seriously underlit making me nervous about security. I don’t think I will be using Carwiz again until these critical safety issues are resolved.

Their advertised prices are fraudulent in my opinion. They did not return or answer phone and text messages. I highly recommend you avoid this company

Every National employee we encountered was friendly, warm, helpful and understanding -- which was all very appreciated considering the travel-related stress we'd been under the day we had to rent a vehicle to get home. That said, $300+ for a one-night one-way rental felt a bit exploitative when so many people were stranded by airlines during the holiday travel weeks.

They did a great job and the rental process was smooth.

DO NOT USE FOX at PHX airport.; I thought it was going to EUROCAR. Over an hour to check in upstairs.. 40 pax// 2 agents working. Then an house downstairs waiting for keys to car. again .. 40 pax waiting/frustrated. Only 2 agents working. On return after 7 days.. no sign of working agents.. was told to leave car in FOX lineup entrance to facility with keys in car. No one to talk to.. over 20 people in lineup just walking away to catch their flight. NEVER AGAIN.

The pickup and drop-off process was a major downside of this experience. The shuttle location is far from the airport, making it highly inconvenient. If I had known how far it was, I wouldn’t have booked this service. This information should be clearly communicated to potential customers, as it’s misleading to assume the service is located at the airport. Overall, the car itself was fair and reasonably priced. However, if I return to Phoenix, I would not book through this service again.

1. They're shuttle is very far away from the actual airport, and doesn't run consistently 2. They don't answer their phones when you call 3. Limited service hours made pick up and drop off challenging 4. The car had trash in it and smelled like old wet dirty rags 5. The desk clerk clearly hates working there 6. Ineffective communication. I contacted their sales office with concerns and was sent back a copy of my rental agreement with no other communication 7. For the love of Christ, do not partner with this company, their reviews are trash and it's because it's true

They let me know that there was no car after getting to the location. Still didn't get a refund
