Cheap Car Hire in Belmont Cragin, Chicago from ₹ 418

Price was not what I remembered, but kayak didn’t include price with boooing email. This is not the first time kayak has been off on price. Shame on me

Although I did attempt to rent a car from Budget with more than one week ahead of time when I tried to cancel my reservation one day later I was surprised with a charge to my credit card for $50 cancelation fee. I left this was poor customer service and pure spite. I will never attempt to rent from Budget again. What you could have done better is return the $50 cancelation fee. No one else charged a fee.

The car had been reserved in downtown Chicago, even though I specified O’Hare. The person at the desk at the airport said she couldn’t get the reservation switched over to O’Hare and was not very helpful. I called Hertz customer service and they were outstanding. Got the reservation switched and a better price, even! She was so helpful and kind which was so appreciated after a 5 hour flight with and infant and a three hour drive ahead of us. The check out/check in process was totally fast and efficient! Will definitely use Hertz again! Thanks!!

Went way out to this distant location; first waited for the staff to show up who were late only to be told that they had no “van” for me; I specifically reserved a commercial sized van to move furniture..,. The rep said , “yeah, that happens quite a lot but we haven’t had those type of vans here in a long while”! No help, no alternative, no nothing.. just me out of luck! Not sure if I will ever use kayak or hertz for that matter ever again; utter incompetence and could care less attitudes!!

Was late picking up my rental due to unforseen circumstances and the gentleman behind the counter stated that they did not have the car that was picked (Ford Mustang) but did give me a vehicle that was a bit of an upgrade (Honda CRV) for the same rental price ... was extremely happy with it ... will definitely keep doing business with them.

The windshield wipers were not well connected to their sensors. The Fluid was out but the car didn’t let me know. This was difficult since I drove during a snowstorm.
