Cheap Car Rentals in Clearing, Chicago

I was unable to utilize my reservation due to the inability to use my digital credit card on my phone because I don’t have a physical one. Very unsatisfied.

My flight was delayed, and I arrived at the dollar counter, just after they had closed. There was a lady still behind the counter, who informed me that because I had not arrived within two hours of the predetermined time they had rented my vehicle to someone else. How is this practice even legal being that I had already paid for it? I was forced to take rideshare to my destination and then back again the next day at an expense of more than $120. I am quite sure that I had pre-purchased insurance but dollar could not confirm this so I paid for insurance that I didn’t need , my total charge at the counter was an additional $124.22. The type of vehicle I had requested was not available so I had to settle for what they had. There were four shirts laying on the back seat, so I find it difficult to believe the vehicle had been cleaned , I think that the previous customer had just left it clean. Please let me know how to get a refund.

They didn’t have a car. You should check with them before reserving them.

Car was not ready at time of pickup. Had to wait 45 minutes for them to process car in and clean.

The Enterprise crew was wonderful. The car was a little long in the tooth.

The process of picking up and dropping off the vehicle was very smooth and fast. The people at the counter were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

I liked size and comfortable sitting space. What could have been better is when you clean the carpet in the car it had a sour/unpleasant smell.

They wanted $400.00 deposit and they don't use debit cards for intown rentals. You can only use debit card for flying. You must have an major credit card to rent a car, horrible had to go all the way back home to get credit card

Excellent service. Staff was patient and helpful. It was late at night, past the counter service hours. The staff was manning the booth/office in the parking garage. It was cold and late but the staff was patient, helpful and kind. I especially appreciated their service after my long day of traveling/flying. Also the return was easy. Thank you very much. Ethan and his team did a wonderful job.
