When I booked at San Francisco airport... It would have been nice to pick the car up at the airport. Not a $40 uber ride away.

The employees at 340 O’Farrell we’re exceptionally friendly, warm, and efficient, especially the team upstairs in the parking lot where I was sent to both check in and pick up the one-way rental car I’d reserved. Kudos to them!

I prepaid for the rental and was charged an additional $25 after returning the vehicle.

Budget was the only company with line at SFO pick-up, waited one hour. Got charged for fuel despite bringing back full tank.

They cancel my reservation due I didn’t have printed my name in my credit card, my bank doesn’t put that info in the plastic anymore, they didn’t care

Thrifty agents lied 1. The agent gave false information. This led to financial loss and lots of stress 2. I booked for an intermediate car for 500 mile one way trip and they gave me an electric car. Below are false information despite multiple confirmations 1. The range is 250 miles and 0-full charge is 45 mins. False. the range was 150 miles and I had to charge for 90 min for every 120 miles 2. The car has built in GPS along with Charge station map. False. The car did not have an GPS app nor the charge station list 3. Can use tesla charging stations. False, there was not a single tesla station that can be used for non-tesla cars All of the above resulted in a 12 hour trip from SF to San diego. I missed paid event resulting in a financial loss of $500. In addition, this caused so much stress throughout the trip.

Poor customer services

I waited online for 2 hours to be able to checkin and pick up my car. The line was extremally long.

Hard to find Hertz office in Marriott. Not open til 9:00. Made to pay $20.00 fee for pickup and delivery after having pre-paid for car. Given written notice that had to go on line to pay Bay Bridge toll instead of paying there at office. Given wrong car. Wasted 1/2 hour trying to start wrong car before someone appeared to direct me towards the right one.

I performed a search for rental cars from SFO airport, and your website gave me a different pick up/drop off location. Now I know youre going to say, its the customers responsibility to verify location- but when you do a search for a specific location, you dont even think to verify

Customer service was poor, took over 1 hour to checkin and get the car from SFO. Several times Dollar has tried to scam me into paying for their liability insurance when my personal car insurance covers liability. This is poor business and I can’t recommend them to anyone on the mere fact that they try to do this to every person that rents a car with them.

We waited two and a half hours to pick up the car. Outrageous!

We arrived at the airport rental counter to find probably 100 people waiting in line. After a couple minutes of waiting, guests at the front of the line informed us that there were no cars available, even if you had a prepaid reservation. We decided to use a different agency.

Had to fill up oil, part-time frozen monitor screen quick customer service response but not willing to fully admit to the inconveniences

Waited for two hours to get the car! Their system is slow, their service is not optimal nor friendly! Just bad experience for a lot of money! Will not use them again.
