Cheap Car Rentals in Virginia-Highland, Atlanta

First my booking was changed to downtown Atlanta from airport. At midnight, the attendant informed me i needed to head downtown for pickup, at my expense. I did so, and found that location closed. I returned to the airport location where I was treated to a new reservation, at a higher rate!! It’s bizarre that the agents on duty feel empowered to make sensible decisions yet failed so woefully.

The rental car agency canceled my reservation on the day of. Very poor experience.

The Atlanta office was dirty. Was a dead cocaroach under my chair. The representative advised the tank was half full and offered no refuel for $39. As i pulled out of the location i realized it was only a quarter tank full. I advised on drop-off that I was misinformed and merely shrug his shoulders saying too bad. Terrible experience with Hertz. I'm an executive platinum flyer and travel often. Will avoid using Hertz in the future.

Didn’t even get a rental car. Got a pathetic text an hour before pickup that they were out of cars. Thrifty was such a scam - don’t overbook if you don’t have the cars, and let people know before they’re leaving for their trip (when they book a car weeks in advance).

They did not have a car! We ended up having to fly

AVIS IS A JOKE, PRICELIN, KAYAK, EVERYONE IS A JOKE. NO CAR AVAILABLE. NOT AVAILABLE FOR ME AND NOT AVAILABLE FOR ANOTHER 10 PEOPLE WHO WERE STRANDED THE SAME AS ME. AVIS HAD THE LIST OF PEOPLE GOING TO PICK-UP CARS THAT MORNING, EVEN THEN THEY DID NOT THINK IT WAS IMPORTANT TO HAVE CARS AVAILABLE FOR THEIR CLIENTS. THIS IS UNHEARD OF. BUT I LEARNED MY LESSON. STAY AWAY FROM PRICELINE AND OTHER MIDDLEMEN. THEY DON'T CARE.

They did not have a car despite a reservation. A car reservation is not a promise on the part of Avis, just on the customer side. They totally suck.

Took my reservation, charged me $60 for insurance and then had no car. At least the agent called me an hour before pickup time to tell me they had no cars to rent.
