Worst ever. No personnel at airport desk. Prepay customers ahead of me had been waiting 1.5 hrs with no sign of someone— a person took care of one client then disappeared. Had to book a car with a competitor on the spot and paid twice as much due to last minute booking. Thrifty never again.

The minivan had issues and handled poorly. It was too late in the day to swap with a different vehicle. Seats didn’t work in the back row and would not fold down.

I know there are limitations, but it would be nice to have more than one person at the airport. We stood in line for quite some time waiting for the one agent to open up for us to rent the car. Other than that, it was a breeze doing business with Thrifty.

Nice car. Very rude employee in the garage (the one who gave me the key). No manners, and very rude.

Return at IAD was not a good experience.

We had to wait for two hours in line to get our vehicle. That was absurd! We were exhausted since this was at from 10:30pm-12:30am! The agent was very efficient once it was our turn. Once we received our vehicle, everything was excellent...the van, the drop off.

Enterprise agents went above and beyond to make the pick-up and return process very easy.

You rented me a car, that was not on site. There wasn't a shuttle to get me there. I was told that I I needed an uber to get there. I cancelled the car and they said that they wouldn't refund my money. I rented from someone else. You have some NERVE ! If I would have known this, I never would have rented from you. I don't even know how you got involved. I will NEVER do business with you!! remove my name from your mailing list! never contact me AGAIN!

When booking there was no indication that the car pickup was NOT at the Airport. We had to take Uber to go downtown and wait for 2 hours. The full size car was a dump, so had to upgrade to an SUV for additional $120 Really disappointed, to say the least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Price and location was good. However the cleanliness and the staff was not great and the pick up location when questions and issues were raised.

Price was awesome, the third party insurance was about half what I paid last time I rented a car. The staff was friendly and very efficient . The car I chose online was not available so I got a free upgrade Thank you budget

The rental counter staff were utterly rude to anyone that walked up, completely unhelpful when asked simple questions and made it clear nothing was their problem. The SUV we reserved was not available to fit our group and the clerk literally told us “I don’t really care “. I’ll never rent from budget again

Had a horrible experience. Had a 3pm pick up time and they closed at 3pm. Due to being a few minutes let I never even got the car. Will not use again. Was still charged for not picking it up.

Since we tried to find the best value in our rental, we were surprised to have to have an extra $12.99 daily for tolls, or else be penalized $90 if we ever went on any toll road.

Airport shuttle from airport: Good communication, minimal wait. They called my insurance company to make sure I was covered. I already knew I was, so that was a time waster. Our car 4dr Mercedes was clean however, it was dented in 3-4 places and had a broken headlight cover. Interior smelled like smoke. The car worked and did its job getting around. Passenger window would stick or not work going up it had to be rolled up from the driver side. When I got the car, I told them when I return I will be here around 6:30pm. We can get a shuttle back to the airport correct? I was told yes. Upon returning the car at 6:30pm we were told they were closed (closed but people were still there) and they wouldn’t drive us to the airport. He said his coworker explained they were closed at 6pm and don’t do shuttles after 6pm. Kayak and the rental company promises airport shuttles. We were not given instructions on how to drop the car off if there had been no one there. We were also told our 6:30pm arrival wouldn’t be a problem for a shuttle. The employee took us to the airport in his personal car which was spotless and kind of him. This has soured my experience with both Kayak and the AZ rental company
