The price was very reasonable (especially in these days). The only real problem was contacting the office after we arrived at the airport. I called the office a dozen times and no one answered. Even worse, the voice mailbox was never set up. This was not comforting in any way.
This vehicle was rented and prepaid two months before we arrived. Unfortunately, our flight time changes and we got there several hours after our pick up time. Mind you, it was the same day, at least two hours before closing. Representatives said they didn’t have a car available because their policy so only to hold the car for two hours in case the person doesn’t show up so they don't lose money. Again, the car was already paid for so there was no chance of them losing money. They told me to call their customer service number and every time I called, they gave me a different answer, on several occasion that this shouldn’t be an issue because it was already paid for but no one would help us. I had to end up renting last minute and enterprise and they were more tha accommodating. every time I try to use someone other than enterprise to save money I get screwed. It’s no wonder Hertz is going out of business
It took forever for me to get the car. There were two people in the office and about eight people in the lobby. The gentleman moved with absolutely no urgency. After about an hour of waiting for the car, we finally got it. The car had break suspension issues, So it shook really badly anytime you hit the brakes...Definitely not good when you’re on the freeway doing 70. Something was also wrong with the electrical system so the radio display would continually go off and then reboot. This deathtrap cost me $675 for four days...did I mention it was a Corolla? I will never again...
The original man I spoke with was rude and unprofessional. Fortuantely another employee eventually helped.
There was no notice that we did not have transportation to the pick up location! There was no phone number listed for the pick up location!
Had to cancel and ask for refund cause they didn’t have my car or the car for at least 10 other customers.
small office- one guy working and answering phones before helping the customers who waited a long time, second guy finally showed up approx 45 min later
car was filthy, outside and inside. Was parked under a tree and he blamed the tree but lots of bugs on the front so it definitely wasn't cleaned. never rented a car and received such a dirty one before. The guy did offer to take it to the airport and wash it but that would of taken an hour so I accepted it dirty
Had to take an Uber to get there because we were unaware there was a shuttle bus available. The directions included with the reservation stated taking a public bus, which was not an option for us. When we got there, the line was 15 people deep and 3 staff trying to help. Most people were yelling and complaining about their car not being there, needing insurance documentation or an exorbitant deposit. Having heard this, I called my insurance agent to be prepared with proof of insurance. However when I finally did get to the counter over an hour later, I was questioned about the validity of the form. He then tried to charge me for the rental, which was prepaid. A phone call to the main office resolved that. Had it not been prepaid, would have left shortly after arriving. We then had to give them a $2500 deposit to rent the car which I wasn’t planning on. Most people in the line were not able to afford that. I had to put it on a charge card which subsequently maxed me out and curtailed my ability to pay for other things during my stay. The drop off however was like a different place. A quick once over, friendly staff and a shuttle van to the airport. Still would never rent from them again
I didn't like anything. I didn't even get the car rental that I paid for. I'm still trying to get my money returned to me. This place is a scam. They want to overcharge you don't offer insurance. And the people there are rude. Do not waste your time.
Customer service was terrible. First I tried to modify my reservation, they hung up on me. Then I tried to cancel. They claimed they canceled it and would send confirmation. No confirmation, card was charged via affirm. Highly disappointed in kayak.

There were hidden fees (tolls, mileage, insurance, ) that I was charged because I was a Florida resident t. I wish I had known about them prior to booking. Staff was super friendly and the car was new and clean!
