Cheap Car Rentals in Mount Sinai Beth Israel, New York

Drop-off location was not running the advertised scheduled shuttle, still have not received final receipt.

We received the truck we wanted. Everything was great.

It was not Alamo but Budget as the booking got changed by tripadvisor. a. The car ( nissan murano) at JFK airport was not clean b. After some time the front collision warning light came up kept coming up intermittently c. It applied automatic breaks in the middle of the highway quite a few times ( Lucky to be remain unhurt) d. Had to stop my trip half way and take shelter at a friend's place late in the evening e. Towing truck came way too late f. Replacement vehicle was also dirty g. Replacement vehicle had serious mechanical issue ( shaking vigorously on the highway) h. In spite of all these, was charged for the extra day ! The overall experience with this Budget rental was worse than pathetic!!

The price, location and vehicle were perfect The phones didn’t work. That needs to change.

HYA Airport needs to make it clearer to customers that the building CLOSES as of 8PM, making it impossible to return a car after that timeframe. It's incredibly inconvenient and hours need to be clearly stated when making a rental reservation. This is not the first I've experience this when renting a car.

We got a KIA SUV that had over 58k miles on it. When I checked out, the car was muddy (not washed), the floor mats were not cleaned and vacuumed, and the tires were low. I tried to see if the garage attendant could fill up the tires but he said he couldn't and that the tires were okay and that it was fine to drive the car. While driving the car, I found a gas station to pay to use their air pump to fill the tires to their recommended air pressure.

Despite a confirmed reservation we were informed that no car was available and we had to wait until one returned. Unbelievable

At checkout they asked if I wanted ez pass. I asked if there was an extra charge other than paying tolls. They said no. Then on my final bill I was charged $22.50 PER DAY for the EZ pass. It was in the contract apparently (I skimmed it and did not read it in full) and I am still furious. What's the point of asking if they are going to lie to you. I called dollar corporate and they basically told me to F off (nicely but still).

We reserved a midsize sedan and had to drive a small SUV which was not what I like to drive on a long road trip. We tried to pair my iPhone to hear my playlist and it wouldn’t pair…. just a defunct feature of the car. Other than that- fine

Everything was great. Though I wonder why the taxes are so high. There was a site to get an explanation about this but the site was unhelpful. Very good and easy rental experience though.

It would have been nice to get an explanation of additional charges. The bill was emailed to me; when I tried calling a number of times during business hours nobody picked up and there was no way to leave a message. Still wondering.

I needed to extend the rental period and they wanted to double the rate.

The car attendant is great. The office person was alone and needed help.
