Since we were dropping the car off after hours we were supposed to leave the keys in the box. When we got there the box was not there, and there was no note with instructions on what to do instead. We ended up having to come back in the morning to deliver the keys. Additionally, our teller did not explain the terms of the agreement, and we ended up being charged much more than needed on gas. They did upgrade our car to an SUV which was nice, but not a great experience overall.

The car performance in the snow, was incredible. Perhaps it would be better to offer winter tires at the moment of the booking. It was incredibly difficult to get to the parking zone at peak hour.

Car that we were given was good on gas.

The staff truly needs a crash course on customer service. There were 3 people ahead of us getting car rentals and every single one had some kind of issue with the staff. There was no management on duty. One particular employee raised his voice when he got in a disagreement with a customer. Overall, this place is just not worth the couple bucks you save by renting from here.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and treated me for an upgrade. The car was brand new :) The price was cheap but I just wanna warn everyone that the cheap price only comes with 150 kms so if you want unlimited kms then you pay extra for it.

The final cost at the counter was around $120 more versus the price on your web site. The reason according to Ace personnal was that your system don't include all the taxes. I didn't get an invoice at the counter neither at my email has supposed to verify price and taxes The car was damaged and no copy of the damages report was available for the customer. I had to take a picture of report to protect me of being charged for damages done prior to taking the car.

Never even got the car. They called me up on the morning of the reservation to ask "if I still wanted the car". I couldn't answer because I was on a flight. I called them back and they said they gave the car away to someone else and they canceled my reservation. In addition, they couldn't provide me with an alternative or another car. Absolute joke.

I prepaid online and reserved my car to pick up at 8. Arrived at 8 to find no one there, had to call and ask for someone to help me out. I reserved the car at a specific time for a reason, and I wasn’t getting out of there with the car until after 9. A bit ridiculous in my eyes, Such a lack of care to their costumers. Oh wait there’s more. I bought insurance prior on kayak, but not straight from rent-a-car. Resulting in them withholding a massive fee on my credit card and saying I owe them nearly a grand to replace a windshield because of a tiny chip in the windshield due to driving on the highway. I’ve rented cars before and have never dealt with this kind of thing. No windshield replacement should be that much, and the chip is so minor it could easily be filled for very cheap. But instead rent a car is money grabbing and taking advantage of me. In the process of trying to figure out my claim with the third party insurance, which of course has not been easy. All in all I’m extremely upset by my experience and would recommend you go else where to rent a car.

Clean car, easy pick up and drop off

Generic specialty car was supposed to seat 5 people and 4 bags. I got a Mazda 3, which definitely does not. Rental agent told me it's supposed to be 5 people and 2 large bags and 2 small bags

The lady at the desk was very nice

I was charged more than I was supposed to. The guy who was supposed to check the car was unprofessional and rude. He did not greeted us, he did not have a pen to put on the document that the gaz was not fulled as result they charged us more than $60 for the gas (3/4 full). I had to ask for my invoice as they charged me without letting me. I have not been refunded yet but it seems like it has been done but no updated invoices. "weird fees " that increased my invoice by $50. Don't waste your money and time there. Budget or enterprise are more professional and easy to deal with.
