Easy drop off
The reservation wasn't for the Airport location. The desk clerk wasn't any help and only offered to call me a cab. Called Hertz customer service which had to cancel the original pre-paid reservation. Made new reservation for the Airport location with a new price. Also $100 cancel fee.

Car was clean and nice for a compact. Drop-off was easy.
I didn't realize that the rental car was to be picked up in town rather than at the airport. Why was that not apparent? I'm not computer illiterate so why was this not front and center? An extra $50 for nothing and the rental fee was already high (we just had a rental in Wisconsin at a much lower rate for a much better car). Pushy attendant.

Generally the overall rental experience was really great. Only the price was far too much in my opinion (roughly USD 130.00 per day for 6 days). Apart from that I'd totally recommend it again

The reservation was for the S. Salisbury location in Raleigh. While in an Uber to pick up the car at 10am, the location called to say that they didn't have any cars. I was dropped off at the location and told to call the national reservation number. I called and the agent moved the reservation to Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh location, some 20 minutes away. I hailed another Uber and while in that ride, the location called to say they didn't have any cars. At the Glenwood location I called the national reservation number and they said to go to RDU airport another 20 minutes away. I finally got a car but not before I had to spend an extra $50 on Uber rides and wasting 2 hours of my time.

Although the location was hard to find, the pick up process was painless, it was like a scavenger hunt.
TOTAL DISASTER, THEY HAD NO CARS AVAILABLE, NO ANSWER, NO OPTION, FINALLY HAD TO UBER, ABSOLUTE LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY, TERRIBLE SERVICE. SAME FOR KAYAK, NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM AND GET AN ANSWER. NEVER AGAIN KAYAK NEVER AGAIN ENTERPRISE

Drop off was difficult and unclear. There was only a small sign saying that budget was closed and to return car to avis. this should have been told to me at the time of pickup to avoid complications catching my flight
they should have disclosed that they would not be "open" during my return hours and how to return the vehicle to prevent issues when trying to catch my flight after spending 30 minutes driving around the rental area and airport trying to figure it out for myself

I rented a convertible to drive away from my wedding to our reception. They called me 10 minutes before pickup and said “whoever rented the convertible didn’t bring it back last night.” Upon calling them a second time and speaking to another representative, he informed me they never have convertibles, so whoever spoke to me the first time lied to me. Then he told me they couldn’t help me find the convertible at another local Enterprise and that they wouldn’t honor my Kayak prices. I spent over an hour ON MY WEDDING DAY on hold and talking to various clueless, helpless, hand-wringing local and corporate Enterprise employees. Long story short, we had to rent a convertible from Alamo and they were *AWESOME*, but it ended up being triple the price. Stay away from Enterprise. They’re hapless.

Staff very friendly. Drop off and pick up were a breeze.
Nothing I can think of. My passengers lived the tall van, much easier to get in and out of. The sliding door was a little tough to close, an electric close and open function would have been the only thing that could have made it better.
Rude staff at Raleigh airport AVIS/ Busget. Gave me a crappy car even though I insisted I have a toddler and plan to drive over 12 hours to Canada. USD $315 was charged but they didn’t even bother checking my air pressure.

I booked a 12-passenger van, confirmed the reservation the day before, and then showed up and they did not have any available and only had smaller vehicles. Absolutely awful experience that did not meet our needs. Exceptionally frustrating considering the extra effort I went through to confirm everything was ready the day before. Will not use again.

After I agreed to insurance, the car rental company immediately call me to that the car is actually unavailable. Now I never use KAYAK because there are some double exist that the list of cars available is not updated frequently.

I like how Avis stretched the definition of a "midsize" booking to include a Nissan Sentra. That's very creative.
Leave lots of extra time to drop a car at the Wilmington (NC) airport. You have to find a parking space, unload your belongings, walk into the airport, and wait at the rental counter. And all of that counts against your return time. If that makes you "late" to return your car, it's an extra $30-50.
Car was filthy. Didn't have time to request a different car so I eventually vacuumed car out myself. Outside was dirty as if it had been driven in a little bit of snow. Called avis 800 # to complained and only offered $20 off future rental.
