Car stunk like smoke they don’t allow you to extend the reservation for 3 hrs without gouging you for an entire other day poor customer service

I Needed a van to seat 12, it’s not what I received. I brought my church youth to Houston for a convention. I was the only driver. There were no vans. They attempted to accommodate by offering two vehicles. In the end I drove a full size Expedition that seated 8. Two of my group needed to Uber. Renter beware: the only promise your reservation gives you is the price. 30,000 people came to Houston, many by plane, is it not possible to move the fleet? On the positive side, the two gals who worked me did give me a price break on the rental I did receive.

See above, plus, it would be helpful if rental locations not near the airport state as much. I paid substantially to get to this off-site location.

They took reservations but had no ability to deliver a vehicle. I made two reservations at two different locations on two consecutive days. I never received a call that there was a possibility that they may not be able to deliver a car much less the car I reserved. It was only when I called each time to make sure my car was ready did the office let me know that they weren’t honoring the reservation. I will never rent from them again!

Even though we prepaid, they cancelled the car at the last minute. I checked online…they were still taking new reservations, just at a higher price.

Staff was not helpful. Gave car away to another customer even though booking was confirmed and I had spoken to the rental associate.

Will at Hertz at the Gessner location did not display any professionalism.

Staff was very helpful.

Kayak has false information on their site. I was promised an Audi A5 as a rental vehicle, however Hertz informed that they do not carry Audi vehicles, nor does any Hertz stores in Houston. Audi A5 is only available on the KAYAK website and not directly through Hertz. This is very misleading.
