Cheap Car Rentals in H Street Corridor, Washington, D.C.

I was unable to retrieve my car since the location was closed. I was also unable to reach a live person to assist. I have to communicate throw another location to cancel the reservation. The location did not have any cars available and 10 people were waiting for cars to be returned, which would take a few hours. Totally unacceptable.

Hertz overcharged me compared to what I was quoted on Kayak.com by almost double.

There is no signage at Union Station to inform you where find Budget’s temporary office located in the parking garage since they closed their counter in the building. Although I had reserved a car just hours before, upon arrival they had no small vehicles and informed me that I could wait an indeterminable time in the open air garage at 35 degrees or pay for an upgrade to an suv. Having chosen the SUV so I didn’t have to wait for a car to be returned, cleaned, and brought up, the clerk who walked around to inspect the car completely ignored massive damage on the passenger side where a tire/wheel had clearly rubbed up against and dented/stripped paint on the door. Don’t trust them.
