The guys who checked us in and out were great. I would definitely use this location again.

I felt manipulated. The representative lied to me about what the minimum amount of insurance I could have was, and tried to charge me for it. I caught him in his first lie then he said he could go a bit lower on the charge. Still wouldn’t allow me to get no extra insurance which I thought was fishy.

The smell in the car
I called about 10 AM to advise them I would be about an hour and a half late late picking up the vehicle. Instead of 12 it would be more like 1:30 or 2PM. My paper work said that thy closed at 1 PM however they had decided to close at 12 PM. I asked them if they could stay open until I got there but they would not stay past 1230. Considering that it was a ten day rental I would have thought they would be more accomadating. They weren't and I had no car until Tuesday when I got one from the Enterprize at the airport who provide excellent service and flexibility.
Their service and restrictive way in which they operate. not customer oriented.
Didn’t get a refund on deposit, wasn’t aloud to pick up car because they don’t accept my credit card. Still stuck in Pittsburgh waiting for a greyhound.

My pickup was scheduled for 6 pm, and when I arrived at 6 the office was closed. The only Budget office still open was the airport and the were sold out of cars. So I had to wait until the next morning to pick up a car, forcing me to cancel appointments for the next morning. When I finally picked up the car the next morning they neglected to fill the windshield wiper fluid. It had recently snowed, and my windshield got so dirty on the turnpike that I couldn't see except for through one spot. It was extremely dangerous driving to the next rest stop where I purchase wiper fluid of my own. I am extremely disappointed.
I typed in Pittsburgh Airport for my pick up/drop off location assuming it would be at the airport. When I went to the counter, I was told it was an offsite location 15 miles away...
Car was very comfortable and efficient. Excellent customer service. Will definitely rent from this location again.
Pros: The cost of the vehicle was great. No issues with the actual vehicle. Good on gas. Cons: Hours of operation was hectic. Staff dropping off was horrible. Actually waiting for support to reach out about my experience. I will never rent from Hertz based on my drop off experience.
The location was closed when it was time to return car so I had to go to another location and they charged me extra $100 because I returned car to another location. They just ripped me off

The rate definitely should have been lower, being that I paid for three weeks
In the morning at pick up, Chris was helpful. He let me know that I could bring my car back a bit later than original time since I rented it for the day. The front door said open 8-530pm but Chris said 5pm and probably a bit beyond that time for closing, since things had changed a bit. I got stuck in unexpected traffic and my ETA was one minute after 5pm. I called at 430 pm and let the guy (no name) I was hoping to be there before five but it could be 501pm. He said they would not be there. I said I really hope you are because he told me that there was no drop box and I was leaving in the morning before they opened. I arrived at 501pm and the door was locked the gate to the rental lot was closed but not locked and no one came to the door. There was now a letter on the front door that was not there in the morning at pick up that said counter hours 8-4pm. So I called Hertz and the customer service agent told me to drop it at the airport. Wow. 1 minute delayed cost me 90 minutes of additional time and drive. Thank you to the hertz guy at the airport. Wonderful.
Despite showing that cars were available, there were no cars for rent.
Avis rental facility was closed when I arrived, leaving me stranded in downtown Pittsburgh alone with three large heavy suitcases. I had to pay cab fare there and then back to the airport. The Avis at the airport would not honor my reservation which was for $60 dollars approximately and I ended up having to pay $300 for a rental car- plus the $100 worth of cab fare. Absolutely horrible experience, will never rent from them again.
The office could use better outside signage, walked right past it at first.
Pickup was easy and smooth.
Drop off: When I arrived at my dropoff location the lady told me I would be charged $200 for bring it to the wrong location. Turned out the Avis in Pittsburgh gave me the wrong car that was reserved for someone else, and because of this I had to pay for their mistake. I called customer service right after and fixed the fiasco, but I will not be getting my refund for up to 14 days. The lady at the drop off in Rome,NY was also not helpful.
