Cheap Car Rentals in Northside, Jacksonville

I made a reservation. They called to cancel it and said they didn't know why the computer allowed me to make a reservation. Sounds like an internal problem that a customer does not need to know about. Will avoid Hertz. They also tend to have people arrested because Hertz's computer system tells them a car is stolen when it's been returned and paid for. Bad business Hertz. You should do better.

We arrived early for our scheduled rental and no one was there. Had to deal with rental issues every day for the whole vacation. Vile customer service. Never use this company

The representative at the counter at Jax was great.

They charged us nearly twice the price at pick up because there was some issue with the booking. It cost us so much money and I was very disappointed.

Had to wait while cars were borrowed from other rental companies. I understand the shortage on rental cars but don’t make reservations for cars you don’t have available. I think next time I’ll just have family pick us up at the airport and forget about renting a car

I am not exaggerating when I say they made us and many others wait 2 hours to bring the car around. We finally just got a different car because it was taking so long and absolutely no one was helping us out. I called Budget customer service and all they couldn't do anything for us. DO NOT USE JACKSONVILLE BUDGET CAR RENTAL.

Terribly run operation. Expensive, unhelpful, long waits. Every customer there was outraged.

Reserved a midsize car was told they only have minivans and pickup trucks. What is the point of a reservation?

After picking our luggage off the carousel we spent 1/2 hr looking for Easirent. There was no easirent at the airport car rental booths and repeated calls to the phone number I had for them went unanswered. Finally as I was standing in another line to see if anyone knew Easirent I saw a small sign that read, OFF SITE RENTAL. I took a chance and we rolled all our luggage across one of the airport drives. There was a shuttle waiting there and they knew of Easirent. The driver said Easirent does pick up at that location but Easirent shuttles don’t come very often so we should grab one of the Wally park vans. We took her advice and finally arrived at the Wally Park/Easirent location. Service was mediocre but the reservations were found and a car was waiting for us. Definitely not one of my easier car rental processes but it all worked out in the end.

Clean car and good service. They told me I needed full coverage insurance when I arrived and charged me $400. I later learned that my insurance would have covered it, so selling me on the insurance was disappointing to learn.

No other rental car counter had a line as long as Avis. We waited for almost an hour to get to the front to get our car. Then they add on all these hidden costs, inflating the final price way beyond what the reservation price was set at. Very frustrating.
