Got to the rental place, their card chip reader wasn't working so we had to swipe. My husband's mag strip was worn so it wasn't working. The woman at the counter informed us she couldn't type the card manually. As we share the same bank account, we asked to use my card and were unable to due to it being in his name. We were then advised to call and straighten it out with priceline. So we tried numerous times to call price line only to get an auto recording telling us about our rental details, no option for a rep. We decided to use the chat feature to get help. First person seemed like she did not want to help, gave multiple bits of incorrect info, and then lied and said she couldn't contact the rental company to confirm our refund for up to 10 business days because they're closed. We were literally standing in the office she claimed wasn't opened. The next rep said we need to call their number, and gave us the recorded line again. The last rep FINALLY was able to get us a refund but either way we were left without a rental vehicle and had to find another method of transportation because the company also advised they need a minimum of 24 hours notice to rent a car. It was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I will never use a third party site again, this was beyond words.
