Booked with you all for a different location then wasn’t “allowed” to drop off to my selection point. Had to cancel last day and was only given $15 back for loss of a whole last day. Hertz informed me I was not allowed to drop off car at airport with a lock box or drop keys somewhere. Then when I took car a day early to Hertz in Port Charlotte, the manager told me I actually could have dropped off key to Punta Gorda airport, which was my original plan. Lost lots of money including paying fir Uber rides because I no longer had rental car. Horrible experience

I never received my car. I had a 12pm pick up from a location that closed at 12pm. How does that make any sense. Clearly a faulty system. When I arrived at 12:18, there was no one around for help. They were then closed until 2 days later. I was stranded and had to rent a car from someone else. But it gets even better, Hertz still charged me for the car I never used! Terrible service

Reserveda cargo van on line, confirmation# included, showed up and they told me they had no vans for at least 4 months. Vans should be taken off you web site.

My flight was cancelled and rebooked the next day. Therefore I needed the rental car for an extra day. when i requested to extend the rental by a day, Hertz said no, that it couldn't be extended. So i had to return the car (3 hour drive) to the airport and then get a hotel near the airport. It was hit and uncomfortable and a lot of in and out of airport for no reason. I will not choose Hertz again. Also it took me several tries to get through Hertz’ automated telephone system to just speak to a human. Trying to get through to the local rental place proved to be even more difficult.

Davis staff did a great job. It was rainy in Ft. Lauderdale and I made my reservation an hour before pick up. When they received my information they called me to inform me they may not have a car as many renters had not returned their vehicle. We went to the facility anyway where they did have a car ready. The staff had it clean and out of the water that had accumulated in the parking lot.

Nothing to like

Everything, they ran out of cars to rent. Staff lied to me that I would have a car, guaranteed I would have one by the end of the day. No phone call and wouldn't return my phone call.

managers were amazing to work with .

the fact that i had a reservation and when i got there had to wait an hour for a car. had to be driven by manager (THANK YOU JOSH!) who went out of his way to finally get me in a car. reservation with no car = not likely to return.

My car was not ready when I arrived. I asked them to call when my car was ready and nobody ever called. I called back several times to find out what happened and got no answer. I never got a rental car and it messed up my entire day.

The staff was great Josh went over and above, helping me with things he didn't need to. I would def rent from them again.

The expensive cab ride to pick up the car.

Car rental agency requires everyone to purchase insurance. I had collision included on my credit card- a waiver from the card company is required. This took me about 45 mins to obtain. For liability insurance- Only a handful of insurance companies are accepted and they’re all US based insurers.. Strange As I’ve never had that issue with other companies in the US coming from Canada. Nice single happy camper observed leaving the rental counter.
