Cheap Car Rentals in Globeville, Denver

Received a voicemail when I landed in Denver that they no longer had a car for me. I was already on a time crunch and had to scramble to get another car at the last minute.

The Denver location (Welton) called the day of my reservation and said they didn’t have a car for me. Then told me “tomorrow isn’t looking good either.” Why wouldn’t I go to the top of the list the next day, if they didn’t have a car for me on the day I reserved? What stupid game are they playing. I have never experienced this at any rental car company. Thankfully, the Boulder location honored my reservation the next day. I had to get there, of course, and spend money on a hotel. Absolute fail for the Denver downtown location. Deplorable

I searched for rental cars at the Denver airport but it gave me a rental location far from the airport. I ended up having to rent from the airport location at double the cost. Very unsatisfied.

QUICK, FAST, AND COMPLIMENTED EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED

When I picked up the car, I asked about a shuttle to the airport--the guy said they could shuttle me to Union Station and then I could take the train--it was very convenient.

Handy location across from Union Station. We took the train from the airport (buy your $10.50 tickets via the Uber app) and saved 60% on the car rental Vs. what they wanted at the terminal! Trains run every 15mins..and it’s a 40min trip by car/train either way..

I signed up for Sixt through Kayak. I tried to cancel my reservation, but because it was booked through Kayak, I was unable to cancel on their website, because they said I was supposed to cancel through Kayak. But Kayak also does not assist in canceling. I emailed several times with Sixt, trying to cancel my reservation, and they never canceled it and charged me the full fee. I will not be using Kayak nor Sixt ever again for renting cars.

Avoid renting through this company and Kayak if you can help it. I paid in full and was charged $100 to cancel same day after they said pick up location could be changed….for another $200. I was searching Denver international airport and booked a rental for pick up downtown, not even sure why that was in my search results. It defaults to pay in full so I had no idea. Kayak said they have to be the ones to fix it, they said it had to be kayak. At the end of the day I lost $100 but I can only imagine what else they would have swindled us for. Never again for Kayak or this rental company.

It was a good experience. The clerk was out of small cars but suggested a hybrid mini van that gave great mileage.

Super friendly staff, good value

Kayak and Avis booked us at a location 45 minutes from the Denver airport. Consequently we had to cancel last minute and was charged $50 for a laast minute cancellation. Kayak should indicate the rental lacation is not at the Denver airport. I will not use this booking site in the future.

To the family that heads the Avis/budget operations at the Denver 48th street @ clarions hotel office, thank you being such a friendly professional and up front group of workers while providing the best possible customer service at the same time. You truly are the reason why we count on customer service and asssitance when are unfamiliar with car rentals. Thanks for your help and getting us the beat possible vehicle!

Customer service was horrible when picking up the car and it was even worse when dropping it off.

The car was not available for pickup, I could not pick upnthe vehicle despite paying the fee upfront. The site continue to book the nonexistent car.
