Cheap Car Rentals in Sandpointe, Santa Ana

I prepaid for a car at the airport and spent $50 on an uber to get there. I was early but was then told no cars were available. They said it happens all the time. How does this company stay in business?

Made a reservation and they didn’t save us our SUV! Terrible!!! What’s the point of a reservation if I can’t reserve it?!?!?! Cannot do anything for us because we booked third party! Or at least that’s their excuse!!! Will never go with Dollar again!!!

Easy to rent. All went smooth. Inside floors could have been vacuumed. Was dirty Inside when first getting in the car.

I had put a convertible mustang and received a Camaro that was not convertible. This was my only complaint other than that they were great.

I booked an SUV and they offered me a Camero or Challenger. Then had to wait 20 minutes for them to find me an SUV and the gentleman helping me could not get in contact with other people to assist us faster. I don't think the car was cleaned very well or wiped down prior to giving us the keys, but overall it was fine. Dropping off the car was possibly the worst experience I could imagine. I got there before they closed and waited almost 20 minutes until someone came to help me. The woman was rude and told me I had to use the drop box because they were closed, though I was there prior to closing. If she had assisted me upon arrival, I would have returned the car a day early and not had to pay for the extra day but the lack of customer service and willingness to help me costed me an extra $150. I would not drop off at this location again unless it was made aware prior that you need to use the drop box and not talk to anyone.

We booked a full size SUV (GMC Yukon) 2 weeks in advance, when we reached to pick up first of all we had to wait in line for more than an hour and then we were told that the vehicle we requested ]wasn't available and had to downgraded to a minivan the guy at the counter had an attitude of take it or leave it.

Thirty five minuets in line is terrible. And it wasn't all that many people in front of me. Terrible.

Had to wait 5 hours to get my car. Due to weather and people not returning the car. Nothing Hertz could have done but it was very exhausting waiting that long and then having to drive in traffic back to Vegas.

It would have been better transparency. When they brought the car it was not what I order and when they brought another car they charge me extra for the vehicle. If I would have known for bringing another car would be charge to me I would have just cancel my reservation. Not once would I notify about the charge.

I reserved BMW X3 online. When I went to the Enterprise and requested to check in, I asked if they have the BMW available, the customer service representative told me yes, they checked me in and charged my card, so she asked me to wait until her colleague comes to help me. When Shalvy came she told me that they don’t have BMW and I should drive Q5 instead. I was really shocked, Q5 was not in good condition, there were a lot of scratches on car. I didn’t have any options, since I must to drive towards San Diego for my daughter’s graduation. I asked for different availability and they charged me 179 instead of 130. It was very frustrating.

Avis is the worst rental car for ever. Unprofessional, rude employees, disrespectful.

Huge line at the airport check which moved kind of quick to my surprise. Guy behind the counted was friendly quick and I was on my way. Same at the drop. No line but things went smooth and fast.

Kayak had cars available on its site for a one way trip where the Avis site had none.
