Cheap Car Hire in Church Hill, Richmond from ₹ 556

I will not be renting from Avis again at least at this location as I waited 4 hours to pick up my vehicle. If anything I'd like a half of refund for the cost of the rental for that horrible experience. There's no reason then you had such a few staff members on with so many people in line to pick up vehicles

I showed up at the desk and the car was not available

They did not have any cars for anyone. I do not understand how you can confirm a booking but have no cars

I was charged more at pickup

There where no cars available for about an hour. About a dozen people, all witth reservations, waiting to get cars.

The cars brakes were squealing & vibrating when applied. The car smelled like smoke.

Buy the poor associates at Richmond some new computers. It should not take thirty minutes to checkout because they constantly have to reboot.

The car was ready - the job got done -no frills service

They gave me a car that had broken down the day before, without properly fixing it. So I experienced transmission problems while on a bridge with no where to pull over, which put us in danger. The only reason I know that the car had previous transmission problems because we somehow got assigned the same tow truck driver who recognized the vehicle from the day before. Dollar was seriously negligent. I will never be renting from Dollar or their parent company Hertz ever again because I cannot support a company who willfully puts their customers in danger.

It took 5-minutes to pick up the car. Very good customer service at this location. I was very happy with my rental. I just wish the price of rental cars wasn’t so high. I’m looking forward to the day when the prices drops back to where they were pre-pandemic. Hopefully!
