Was given a defective vehicle and did not have the opportunity to exchange it. Informed Hertz of the problem and they did nothing to remediate the situation.

It was a horrible experience. I needed the rental for a wedding and hertz cancelled right before I was picking up the vehicle. I was told they didn’t have any cars which was a huge inconvenience for me.

I needed to cancel within the 24-hour cancellation period and while the cancellation was accepted I did not receive a refund. Half an hour before the original reservation was supposed to be picked up, I received a call from Hertz saying that they didn't have the car. They left no other options or a number to call back. I still did not receive a refund until I filed a chargeback two days later. Very frustrating experience.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Drop-off was a breeze.

A staff person called me a few hours after picking up the car saying they needed to verify the mileage and it may need to come back and swapped for a different car due to a possible need for an oil change. Tried calling back, but they were closed, and didn’t open until 9:00am the next day. The main Enterprise toll free number we tried had hours that started at 7:00am, but we would have been already long gone. When I picked up the car, the staff said to “call us anytime if you need anything” but the branch’s restrictive hours and the toll free number’s lack of 24-hour service prevents this. In the end, the staff person said don’t worry about it, there’s typically a 1500 mile buffer built in. All turned out well, but we were stressed after getting that initial voicemail because there was no way we could go all the way back to swap out a car, nor divert our course to go to a different Enterprise to do it, as we were on strict time constraints.

I was given a free upgrade car. 2021 GMC. Also I saved an additional 70$ upon arrival. Overall I would recommend kayak

A Gas filled car. Upon arrival they did not have a fueled vehicle ready. I had to refill myself. But at the return of the rental I had the option to bring it back the way I picked it up. So good thing is I didn’t have to refill before drop off.

Pick up was simple and complete, barring the EZ pass that did not work.

The EZ pass toll system that I was given did not work. Therefore, I had to pay tolls with my personal card, absorbing additional charges, for something that I rented specifically to work.

when I initially picked up my one month rental from downtown Milwaukee, it turned out that one of the tires had been leaking air, and had not been checked by this location. This could be confirmed by the fact that it was leaking just over one pound of pressure/day--which I determined after a few days into the rental--and was already at 25 lbs when I arrived at my destination just 80 miles away on my first day of the rental.

I asked for a car at MKE airport, and you made the reservation at Budget downtown!! Fortunately, Budget at the airport corrected it.

I received a call 2 hours prior to the time I had reserved the car and they said there were no cars available and that they had to cancel my reservation.

They called the cancel the reservation an hour and a half before pickup, and didn’t help in locating a new car. I was charged a full day for returning a car 41 minutes late, despite the drop off directions not clear and requiring a wait for an attendant. I don’t know how this company is in business

They called me at 8am and said they dis not have a vehicle for me. When they finally got one around 11am i had to take it home and spend 30 min cleaning it. When i took it back they tried to say i had a pet in it as it had 4 pieces of pet hair in it!!

Staff is first class. I’m making this the go to for my rental needs. Will recommend this store on Val Phillips in downtown Mke to my plethora of traveling clients and guest. The airport location should be trained by this staff. Airport staff are very rude and unhelpful.

Had to make an hour of calls to the delivery spot from downtown to switch to the airport. Tried signing up with the app, and didn't see any in-person options for rescheduling/switching airports. Would have preferred to be able to see the various alternatives

I reserved by vehicle for 12pm noon and arrived at 12:05pm to find the location closed. Kayak didn't give me any notification that I would have to arrive earlier than noon if I expected to get a car. It caused a huge logistical headache for my trip and I won't be booking cars through Kayak again.
