Vehicle is new, very comfortable, ran fantastic. Very easy to rent a car at this airport and to return it. The you g lady who took me to my van was awesome!

The guy working at the desk is unfriendly and didn’t seem to enjoy his job working with people. Second time I’ve had the same experience with someone working at this counter at this airport. When I pulled a van around to pick up my family at baggage claim we realized someone had not put the flooring back correctly and it was difficult for them to quickly get in because they were two huge holes when you open the side van doors. We had to find a good spot once we left the airport where we could get out and put the flooring back the way it was supposed to be. I cannot imagine how difficult this would have been if I were picking up children instead of Teenagers. The seats fold down into the floor and someone had apparently pulled the seats back up where they belong but never bothered to put the flooring back right when they were cleaning it.

Easy pick up, no line. Kylie, at Charlotte Airport Alamo counter was so nice, professional, and efficient. We were able to get our car quickly, and had no problems at all. Return was smooth and quick as well.

I even called the Dollar support line to make sure the vehicle was ready for me. The support representative confirmed the vehicle was ready to be picked up, but the representative at the airport said there were no vehicles available. This was a very frustrating experience. I took an Uber all the way to the airport just to pick up the rental car, and then it wasn't available.

We had to wait in line for over an hour to get the car. The car we rented was not available so we got a larger car, which we didn't really needed. The inside of the car was clean but the windows were still dirty.

We had a 5pm vehicle reservation upon our arrival at CLT airport and didn't get our rental until 7:30pm. Staff was wildly understaffed and unprepared to meet not only our needs, but the needs of other customers waiting for their rental. Abysmal customer service.

pulled in to return car at Charlotte airport at 12:30am. Sign said it was open until 1am. Car blocking the entrance to the returns, no one in the car, no one on staff at the return center. There was no way to return the car; we were forced to return to return it at 4:30am. The Hertz rep I talked with on the phone said "there is nothing i can do to help you". Terrible, and I should be completely reimbursed for this entire rental.

They had not one at the drop off line working, so I asked an employee for help turning in my car. They said to just leave it and they would email my receipt. My bill jumped from $117 to $251 through no fault of my own. I should have waited but there were clearly understaffed and now I am getting price gouged. I am so frustrated.

The car was filthy inside and out. It smelled like dogs and had hair everwhere. Hertz said to go switch it out at a different location but nodboy had minivans available so we didn't have that option. Pretty disappointed.

realized I needed a bigger car - upgraded at counter - guy told me was $100 - turned out it was $100 a DAY! Then the tire got a nail in the middle of the tread - easy $30 plug is all that is needed - took 6 calls and many hours to get resolved - they eventually sent me a voucher to cover the plug - then charged me $215 for roadside assistance!!!!!!!!!

Avis policy prohibits the rental of a car without a return flight or major credit card. That was not disclosed at the time of reservation. The bigger issue was that the agent lied and said no rental car company in the airport would rent with one of those two things. Untrue! Dollar and Hertz both rented to the people the Avis agent turned away.

The only reason I booked with them was because of their price.

But I guess you get what you pay for. When I first booked the car online nowhere did it say of you are in-state you have to have a credit card or that you have limited mileage. How is this fair when if I was from out of town I got unlimited miles and could use a debit card for the 200 deposit??? Getting to the place is where they tell you all of that. Since I dont have a credit card I waisted money on a reservation with them. They wouldn't let me add another driver to the policy since the reservation was done online (yet online...it's not an option to add another driver). I couldn't use someone's else's credit card with the same last name as me (and who was right there with me to give consent for the use of their card) yet at other car rental companies I have done that before in the past. I needed a car and theirs was cheaper so I ended up getting another reservation with them in someone else's name. With this reservation (although it was also done online) I could now all of a sudden and an additional driver to it. They said when we turn the car back in, any occurred charges could be paid for with another card. When we brought the car back, they lied and said they wouldn't charge us for an additional driver however, they did anyways placing that charge on a credit card that no charge should have been made to. I had absolutely no problem paying for the additional driver, however it would have been done with a debit card so don't lie to me about where it's getting charged to not mess up people's credit status.

Price gouging, charging airport fees but not in airport, Rates change after ask extension but never advised of this prior, charged card on file multiple times daily without authorization, say called never received, When I called could have advise of increasing rates not offered weekly best rates had to schedule another promotion online for better rate then declined insurance but first time was not a problem second had to use their insurance for $90 plus more which I thought was alot. Online showed insurance added $11 day should have been like $44. I didn't bother going back and forth with the pricing need transportation until mine out shop. Manager Owner information on business card never answered cell. Agent T. declined to provide corporate number stated have no clue what it is. Will be filing dispute with my financial institution and BBB.
