Planned drop off in Lake Louise Sat at 6:30pm. I arrived there at 5pm. The office was closed the entire weekend. No drop box, no information about how to return the vehicle. A phone number that was listed there for "immediate assistance" took me to the central Hertz automated line. After many attempts I ended up finally being connected to a person, who was located in the US. They told me I would need to return the car to the next closest open location - it was in Edmonton! A 5hr drive away! After an hour on the phone and multiple holds I was asked to leave the keys in the vehicle. Why is there no better drop off system, especially when the location hours are 8-3pm M-F?

Your website showed a 7 passenger 5 full luggage vehicle, an expedition was pictured, when I went to pick it up I was told a full size suv was a Durango or equivalent which doesn’t have trunk space for any luggage once the 3rd row is up. Your website misrepresented the vehicle type and didn’t match the hertz vehicle class - we didn’t have enough space for our party and luggage to fit in the vehicle.

Did not honour the reservation

I do not understand the logic behind a car rental agency that is one hr from the Rockie mtns not listing only winter tire vehicles. To leave it as an upgrade and significant cost at the counter is outrageous. It may not be law to have winter tires on the vehicles being rentable, but highlight that fact on your booking site. It is misleading and not a fair price comparison. And, the amount of surcharges etc are obscene and should be disclosed on your final booking ONLINE, again NOT at the ticket counter when everyone is in a frenzy to get on the road to their destination. As well, there was no walk thru of the vehicle features like windshield wipers, lights, gas tank etc. At initial use of my wiper blades the wipers did not actually touch the glass and was left w a blob of frozen windshield fluid which I had to pullover and scrape off. Eventually the wipers must have warmed up and we’re operational. I was very dissatisfied w my experience and shocked at the outrageous cist of my online quote if $358 to walking away w a key for $958!!? Pls investigate this further, I’d be happy to share my documents!!!!!!!!

Supplied a small suv for free, if i wanted. snow and weather made it a good option. nice free upgrade.

We felt bad when we dropped off the vehicle that the spikes ruined a tire. It's hard to see coming into the parkade from the bright sun, while looking for signage of where to go. A different system would be helpful, or signage warning about the spikes.

The man at the drop off was fantastic he was fast and went out of his way to make sure we knew where we had to go to get to our airline will use enterprise again for sure. Very happy

I made a mistake on my reservation and they bent over backwards to work with me to fix it. I will definitely use them again.

We waited in line at the Calgary airport for almost 2 hours. None of the other companies had a line. The price was better than the other companies, but I would have gladly paid more rather than stand in line for 2 hours.

Big line up for pick up. Took about an hour.

They give me wrong address

Had booked a midsized suv with GPS all wheel drive. When arrived the vehicle didn't have GPS so they had to change vehicle and charged me more for the GPS

Booked a compact SUV and was told at the counter that it was just a compact which didn't by for skiis. I was forced to upgrade to the next car that might fit skiis and it cost over 50% more of the original booking! Very disappointed here.

The lady at the office was rude with us. We asked and paid for a SUV and were initially given a Corolla. She charged us extra for the SUV We are dissapointed with the overall service from AVIS
