Really easy! However it would have been nice if the guy at the Austin car lot was more knowledgeable about how to hook up my cell phone to blue tooth. Dont forget to sign up at rentalradar.com for price drops. Every time rates went down, I made a modified my reservation. Saved over $225 in the course of 4 months by paying attention to rate drops.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The process from pick up to drop off was smooth and fast. I only had 2 incidents: one was the car tire pressure alert and having to stop to put air into the right rear passenger tire. The staff were sorry for that inconvenience, The second : The Nissan Altima has many safety feature alerts- some I was not aware of- in heavy rain- so if you are unfamiliar with the car you are renting- ask the questions before you drive away. The staff are helpful to answer questions.

Over charged from what I payed online.

The agent couldn't answer any questions and didn't advise me that the drop off location wasn't at the airport.

I was surprised that when I went to pick up the car I was told I would be getting something smaller than what I selected. She "upgraded" me, so I had to pay extra to get the size car I expected to rent. Overall, I was happy with the car I ended up with.

The customer service representative when I initially picked up the car was not very professional or helpful and I could hardly understand what he was saying. He kind of mumbled and seemed like he was just casually doing his job. It was late, close to 1am, but I had a lot of questions and I feel like I didn't get any of them answered. He asked me if I wanted to add a 12.99 per day toll coverage, but I wasn't sure if it was necessary. I'm not familiar with the area so I asked him if there are several tolls in the Austin area. He was not able to answer that question. I ended up paying the $12.99 per day and didn't go through one toll so I was pretty upset for even getting it because it added another $50 to my bill. They upgraded me to a Tesla which at first I thought was great, but being that I'm not familiar with that car, I had several questions . I asked him if it drove like a regular car and he kind of laughed at me and said yes. I asked him where I can charge it and he just said they have an account with a supercharger, but I had no idea where they would be located or even how you choose charge it. I asked him if I would just have to search for them on Google maps and he basically just shook his head yes. He wasn't very forthcoming with information. I felt like I had to pull everything out of him and would barely get an answer. It was very frustrating. He handed me a paper with where the car was located and pointed me out the door. From there I had to just figure out what to do because there was nobody outside the greet me or to answer further questions and I had a lot. I figured I would just get to my hotel and call customer service the next day to see if I can get my questions answered. Come to find out, the closest supercharger was like 30 minutes away from my hotel. I could never speak to anybody who worked at the Budget that I rented from. The phone number gets directed to an answering service and they really can't answer any of the questions that I have about the car itself. They couldn't tell me if I was going to be charged a fee for charging the car or if I can charge it somewhere else besides a Tesla supercharger. The answering service that I would have to speak to somebody at the budget I rented from. I explained that I couldn't get through to them and it just rolled over to the answering service. The guy told me just to try to call back in an hour. I had to Google a lot of things to figure things out. It was an extremely frustrating experience especially when you can't just get ahold of anybody to ask questions. I wanted to cancel the 12.99 per day toll fee right away because it was obvious that I wasn't going to need it. We were just staying in Austin and I didn't see where we would have to go through tolls, but there was nobody to call to cancel it. When we returned the car, the people that were accepting the vehicle couldn't talk to me about the toll fee either and told me I would have to go speak to somebody at a customer service area about it, but I didn't have time to do that. We had to start making our way to the airport. If you are renting a car I would suggest not getting a Tesla. In order to charge it, it can take hours so you're just stuck in one spot for a long period of time. Also, I only knew there was an adapter for the car because I had to look around for it. Nobody explained anything to me. If somebody can contact me about my experience, I would appreciate it because it seems impossible to speak to anybody who can make any decisions or help at all.

Long wait, Budget desk closed and I rented at Avis

I was overcharged by $300! This is COMPLETELY unacceptable!

The staff and customer service were fine, but my car ended up not having any window washer fluid and the A/C was completely broke. Obviously neither were identified until I needed them.

Waited in line for an Hour to be told we needed to go upstairs After a 2+ hour wait to have a shuttle pick us up at South Terminal..Not happy about losing 3 hours

Pickup and drop off were easy as they could be. Signs entering the Austin airport could have been more helpful when returning the car. We had to u-turn twice to get to the right place. That's not the fault of the rental car agencies. The car was clean and we were given a thorough walk around before pulling off. It drove and behaved beautifully. We returned the car two days early and there were no questions and our final charge was adjusted accordingly.

I was double charged - first online then again in person. Still have not been able to get my refund.

Pick up was frustrating. Went to the Dollar counter to find a sign that said go to Hertz counter. Waited in a long line. Time consuming.

I could not get a hold of anyone on the phone. Got cut off a few times. Very bad customer service on the phone. We did love the car, just bad phone service.

Any communication that no human being from Avis would be available at 2:30 am (due to Allegiant Airlines delays) would have been a big first step in customer service! But, in these useless, almost careless days of anyone giving a flip about anything and about anybody, it’s all very understandable.

Computers were slow at Check in
