Arrived to see a sign on their door stating that the parking lot was going to be blacktopped that afternoon and customers wouldn't be able to leave our personal vehicles on the property. Confirmed this with the clerk inside, who shrugged at me when I asked where I was supposed to leave my car. "Sorry, but you won't be able to park it here". No provisions or alternate arrangements made, just "figure it out". Maybe I could have done that if I'd been called prior to arrival to let me know about the parking situation, but they didn't bother to do that. It's like they didn't even think it would be an issue. This isn't an airport location, so surely some percentage of their customers arrive in personal vehicles that they need to park. I ended having to cancel the reservation and take my own car on the trip; the very thing I was hoping to avoid by renting, as it has no AC or cruise control. Very poor service, and I won't be making another reservation here.
