We booked through Priceline for an Enterprise rental from Albuquerque Airport to Phoenix Airport---Saturday 10/2-Wednesday, 10/13. When we arrived at the Enterprise in Albuquerque Airport (which happened to be3 on the start of the International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Week), they indicated that the reservation was for an off-site Enterprise in downtown Albuquerque. (This was never explained on the Priceline website, as we would not have reserved this way.) The problem was that the off-site Enterprise closed at 12 Noon--an hour later than we arrived, and that it was closed until Monday morning. The agent at the Albuquerque Airport said that they had no cars---that they could do nothing for us, but the off-site Enterprise should have the car when they opened Monday morning. We then rented a car from another car rental agency until Monday morning, when we were led to believe that our car would be waiting for us at the off-site Enterprise. We also left a detailed voicemail on the off-site Enterprise indicating that we would be in to pick up the car late Monday morning after a previous commitment that we had. When we called the off-site in the morning as we were heading over to pick up the Enterprise rental, the man who answered the phone indicated that he had NO car for us and was very rude, to the point that he hung up on my wife after reducing her to tears. We then had to scramble to find a car from another agency, because Enterprise could do NOTHING for us at any of their offices in the Albuquerque area and beyond. In the past, we have used Priceline and Enterprise on numerous occasions. We assure you that we will never use these two companies again as a result of this VERY negative experience.
