Cheap Car Rentals in Midtown, Reno

I had to wait in line at the airport rental desk to show my rental agreement and then after being directed to the outside area I waited for almost 30 minutes to get my car. After getting in the car and leaving the airport it became very obvious that the vehicle had been smoked in. It stank so bad that we drove with the windows down and left the windows down everywhere we parked for the entire week that we drove the car.

Vehicle had a very bad rotor which cause a great deal of vibration when breaking. This was unsettling since we were driving in mountain areas. I told the associates when I dropped it off about the problem. They said it would be taken care of. I hope they do!

Easy to get my reservation and my car and easy to drop off. Nothing to complain about.

Bait & Switch tactics Asking me for my airline information but not booking me at the airport. To add to that, you book me at a place that closes at 5 pm knowing airlines have a 1 in 5 glitch such that when I’m delayed, the office is closed and I need to rebook at 3 times the price. Shame on you, despicable tactics. I will never use Kayak to book ever again

The Branch Manager had very poor customer service skills. There was a miscommunication on insurance coverage, he did not want to help me resolve the problem. I asked him to call the corporate office together so we could find a resolution and he refused to do that. When I insisted we make that call, he threatened to call the police if I did not leave the office immediately. I have never experienced this poor level of service in a car rental office. I expected better from Hertz, and maybe it is a need for customer service training for that particular manager, but it is a poor reflection on a good company.

When I picked up my car from Reno, I was helped out by the operations manager. I did not get her name, but she went above and beyond in helping me. When I rented my car, I made the mistake of picking it up from Vassar instead of Reno-Tahoe international airport. When I approached the counter to pick up my car, she noticed that I did not have a rental scheduled to be picked up at the airport. Once I explained to her that I was with my wife and baby, she was willing to give me a ride to pick up my rental from Vassar and get me on the road. Once I picked up my car from the different Hertz location, I returned back to the airport. Thankfully, she was still at the Hertz counter and I requested to drop the car at the airport instead of the Vassar location. She went above and beyond again to assist me, and was able to drop the car off at the airport without any issues. I will be coming back to Hertz in the near future to get awesome customer service and for decently priced rentals!

They gave me a nicer car than I reserved. It was a quick easy pickup and drop off. That hits all of my requirements. Good job enterprise.

Staff was great to deal with. Made the process very easy. Need a better car selection. Only problem I had with car is that a few spots were missed when there were cleaning it. Even with that I would rent from them again.

Rented for $220 online. Pickup at 6pm, drop-off at 6pm. Enterprise calls to tell me they are closing early so can I pick up the vehicle earlier. I said yes since my flight was expected to arrive at 2pm. A triple delayed flight brought me to Reno at 4:45 pm. I tried to work with the airport car rental desk, but they were no help. They just wasted my time. Which allowed the Mill Street location to close before I arrived. The next morning the Mill Street location wanted to charge me almost double the price, $436, for the rental. So, after being of no help at the airport, closing early at the Mill Street location 15 minutes before I could get there and then acting like they were doing me a favor to give my the rental at the agreed price, I have no use for Enterprise anymore.

Friendly staff at the Reno airport. They recommended an upgrade for a larger vehicle and were able to offer it for a much lower price than they initially quoted. The vehicle was almost new and very comfortable to drive. Drop off was easy and convenient.

Brand new Ford Edge, problems with eco drive, shut off while moving, all gauges & screen blacked out, dead wheel, couldn’t get eco drive to turn off. Car never should have been on the road. I booked online, and my rental cost doubled at the counter, very shady.

The upgraded us to a Mustang. Great service!! Me recommendation is to have your lanes more clearly marked so people know where to go for service.

Long line to get car after 10 hours of travel. Dropoff was great.

Easy to pick up if you know in advance you have to have a credit card for an SuV but not to just rent a regular card that's a dumb policy . . The staff was great I waited 3 hours trying to figure out how I was going to get home with out an vechile

The pick up in Reno was an abysmal experience at best. The woman helping me was rude, and non-communicative and stated multiple times she was trying to get off her shift. At one point, there were at least 20+ people in line waiting with 4+ Budget attendants that were doing NOTHING! In addition to the extremely poor service, the car I requested (hybrid) was not available and I was put into a coffin of a vehicle as a replacement. Never going with this company again.

I waited 50mins for the car…. The mirror were dirty, all the car was wet outside, the model was old, they gave me another car than the one I wanted for (I rented a Ford Edge because I want to drive this car and they gave me a Toyota 4Runner). The return process was great.

People, process, vehicle all ok. Cost is simply not worth it.

They (Avis) seem to have well overcharged at NZD$1,109.0 from the quoted NZD $780 figure!!

The Customer Service Agent at the checkout desk in Reno was friendly, personable, and informative. :) I think the price paid for one day rental is a bit high these days.
