A day before the pick up, checked with agency and, surprise, didnt figure on reservation list. Worst customer service, dont even tried to solve situation.

The agents were super helpful and friendly. The office was clean. They processed my rental quickly. The car was clean and in good state. It was a great experience.

I went with Hertz because I thought a big company like that would not have hide the fees and I would pay what I was quoted. After waiting over an hour to pick up my vehicle and denying all other extras and fees, my $100 rental car somehow turned into $180 rental car. After returning the vehicle, checkout took another 45 minutes and they kept trying to tack on additional charges the whole time. I would stay away from renting with them.

Hertz in Lima did not honor the reservation I had made on Kayak. At the 6517 Avenida Javier Prado Este, La Molina location reservation #J2482495213, they said they did not have a reservation for me. I showed them my Kayak confirmation and they said sorry they had no more cars and their was nothing under my name. At the Hertz215 Pasaje Tello, location,Conf. #J2484735202 they said they had my reservation but could not honor the price I had reserved it for on Kayak for $130 but they charged me $380.

Honor the reservation I made with Kayak.

The staff tried to help sometimes but only with the drop-off.

At pick-up the price suddenly went up with 400 dollars (for 9 days, wich is insane!) The car was clean but there was something wrong with the engine since it was barely capable of getting uphill (we had to push the car) but at Hertz they said it was all perfectly fine. Gave the car back after 7 days

Staff dinged me for not having 7/8ths gas in the car. However, I returned the car at the exact level of gasoline as when I picked it up. Instead they told me it wasn't enough and charged me anyway. Take a photo of your fuel gauge when picking up

BEWARE. Cars are not ready at quoted time. When we arrived, other customers had been waiting for 2+ hours. They try to scam you into buying their insurance, which is not required (read the other reviews for this location on Google maps); then, they insisted if we didn’t buy their insurance they had to but a $10,000 USD hold on our credit card. We called them out on their scamming, the woman at the counter laughed at us. We canceled, used their WiFi to book with Budget a few blocks away, and rented without hassle from them instead.
