The staff, Toni, could not have been better. She was approved to stay about an hour and a half after they closed to to be sure that we received our car as Dollar closed at 5pm and our plane didn't land until 6:15pm. Worse, I rented a separate car for my wife, Kayak withdrew the $155.00 rental fee, and I never received a confirmation or rental information for her car that I knew of. I called Dollar and they couldn't find the reservation either so I was out $155.00 (and actually more because it cost me more to rent a new car then the original. Really irritating. I've had they issue in the past as well but it was such a hassle to try and get reimbursement that I gave it up. Again, Toni at Dollar deserves accolades beyond imagination. She is a lovely person dedicated to customer service. Thank you Toni.
Frustrating I was charged the $155.00 without a car. Sadly, most car rental services that are discount companies like Dollar perform the same way. Similar with Alamo. Avis was great but then you pay more. In the end, it may be worth it.
