Was easy like it was supposed to be. Car was stored outside, so was a little dirty from the weather. Picked up the car and noticed after drove away that it wasn't completely full, but didn't bother going back for a couple of dollars of gas.

The experience was great and the car was great but we will never use Avis again. We were stuck in an accident on 95 in florida going to the airport for over an hour, so I called Avis to explain that we would be late, the girl said it would be no problem, people always run into some issues. When we dropped the car off, the attendant checked us in and said we were all good to go, no problem. I then get my credit card statement and they charged me $133 for a $75 car rental. They explained it was for being late when I called. I tried to explain, but I got no where. I have a house in Florida and travel there 25 times a year, I know I won’t be using Avis in the future.

The price was good but the facility was in extremely poor shape and dirty as far as the vehicle itself. Good news is that it did not appear to smell of smoke, etc.

Excellent service at check in, pleasant. The car was impeccably cleaned; the first in a long time with zero old cigarette smell. We were surprised to see an extra $200 added to our charge card but found it to be a refundable deposit. It would be good to hear that up front! An excellent experience and I would go right back to Avis!

Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very dirty office, I was nervous about renting when I got there because of the appearance of the place. I was not sure about leaving my personal vehicle in a sketchy neighborhood with no security cameras on the building that could monitor my vehicle and belongings while I was away. My rental vehicle smelt like cigarettes even though your company has a 100% no smoking police... it made my 7 hour drive miserable.

With this Covid stuff going on they could actually clean the car before the next person drives it. There was a scratched off lotto ticket and a piece of paper folded in half under the visor on the drivers side. The drivers side panel where all the window controls are was filthy. This is the 3rd time now that I’ve gotten a dirty car from hertz and now I’ll be using a different company for my rental cars. I will not give them My money anymore.

I couldn’t tell you one thing I liked.

My honest opinion is to stay away. I had a reservation and showed up. I waited 20 minutes before the man working came out of his work room to assist us. He knew the whole 20 minutes we were there. We spent maybe 5 minutes in his office to find out he didn’t have a rental for us. He stated he tried calling us and I never got a phone call. It turns out the number he told me he called was my itinerary number......... I was informed next time to not use kayak to ensure I would have a rental. I had the confirmation for the rental and left with no help to find a rental or a rental. I would try to find ONE thing I could compliment but they were even out of hand sanitizer.

It was a total disgrace how they cheated me out my money. I never got the car I reserved I got a car with the check engine light on I got a car with expired tag and got pulled over I took the car back waited 3 hours put another car all in with the first 24 hours you guys then they gave me a call with the wheel I reserve the car to go to Jacksonville for the weekend it's just a waste of my money then she took tell me my car was dirty and that I smoke and I don't want to charge me $450 I said that's ridiculous then she just told me I'll just close the account and left me stranded with no car and I live 41 Mi away so he'll know I would never recommend budget to anyone.

The staff was not very friendly or helpful. I had a reservation for a compact car, it was only me and I was going a lot of highway driving, she said they didn't have a compact and she wanted me to upgrade to a Jeep Wrangler, I said no I asked for a compact. After we stared at each other for a moment she finally "upgraded" me to a Toyota Highlander, so I had to drive this monster around and got half the gas mileage.

MY budget experience: I had a car reserved on Dec. 1, 2018. When I was checking in at the counter in MCO, the rep asked for a credit card. I gave him 3 cards, all debit cards. He would not accept because I was from FLORIDA and Budget does not accept Debit cards of FL residences. To me that is a discriminatory policy against FLORIDA residences., Then I offered to pay cash for the rent a car in Orlando, FL, USA . The reply from the representative was "we do not accept cash". Convenient location to the City Marina.

They accept reservations whether they have available cars or not. Seven groups were there that morning with reservations. No cars, no plans to get cars, no ride to a nearby facility with available cars. No apologies, either.

Liked nothing. I am 6ft7 and they gave me a Miata .... yes ... a Miata For the inconvenience I was supposed to get the price down to $75 but ... never happened. Since I flew overseas, I could not reach them and I was charged full price. Better and easier to through a fist.
