I thought I had the car rented for 7:30AM - but did not get there until 8:09. The counter gal pulled up aside of me with the same car I rented while I was sitting there - shortly after 8AM. As there was no one at the counter, the sign said to call a number which I did. Whoever answered told me they had been trying to call me at my cell number. The phone was laying on the seat beside me, and there was no call history regarding these 'calls'. He told me the car wouldn't be available until 10AM, or later...even though it obviously was sitting there. I needed to be in OKC that day - then let it sit for 2.5hrs. Obvious they didn't wash it - because it was dirty when I got in it. No clue what was going on with it. I even drove to Enterprise in-between. Had they had a car, I would have been gone, and the car could have just sat there. But they didn't. The last time I rented from the airport, the guy was pissed I rented off the NET at a lower price, and instead of giving me the car I rented - which would have been a Camry, he decided I needed to drive a Nissan about the size of a butter box. I also was going to OKC at that time. I drove it. No clue how the motor stayed in it - but I drove it. Figured if I blew it up, at least I would have gotten what I wanted in the first place. I will try my best never to rent from Waterloo Airport again. This is just bullshit.
