I reserved our vehicle online using American Express and assumed I would be able to complete any in-person payments with the same credit card. However, when I arrived, I was informed that Green Motion does not accept Amex and was charged a £150 debit fee. The car we hired was comfortable, but it was overdue for service and still had some garbage inside from the previous driver. The Apple Car Play also did not work for the entirety of our trip. When I complained to Green Motion about these issues, I received a very rude, dismissive response. They were unwilling to refund any of our money despite all these problems.
