Budget was fine - exactly what I expected. The car I got in Bangor had a bit of a funky smell and there were some coffee/soda spilled drops on the center console. However, I do wish I had known that because I was going to use a debit card that there would be a large deposit run. I would have just used a credit card but I didn't know until it was time to sign and we were in a hurry.

I rented a pickup truck. Was told the lot was packed with vehicles but no trucks , I said if that's the case maybe an upgrade, give me the best you can. I was told that would cost extra. I stated you have a lot full that aren't being rented and you won't give me any sort of deal, I was give a Chevy equinox, the cheapest suv they had, there was a completely full lot(loaded up for summer as I was told) trucks , SUV's , large sedans. And I was given a Chevy equinox

My Budget Camry rental was upgraded to a new Chrysler Pacifica, and the van was a comfortable hybrid with a smooth ride, easy-to-use controls, and excellent mileage. Both pick-up and drop-off at the Bangor airport were quick and easy. I was pleased with both the rental vehicle and the rental experience.

They failed to adequately inform me that on Sunday, they close at 12 noon. Our plane did not arrive until 6 PM and because we had reserved the car “off site” there was NO vehicle at the airport counter available for us. Yes, I should have known that 12 PM is 12 noon but it slipped right by me and we paid the price. It cost an extra $400 to rent a vehicle from another company.

The young women at this location were both exceptional in Customer Service, Friendliness and Service! They both seemed to enjoy their jobs. The shuttle drivers were also prompt, helpful and friendly. My experience could not have been better. I would highly recommend renting from this location!

I booked a vehicle on KAYAK for the same day. Got confirmation email etc. The rental company immediately called me and left a message on my home number - which I did not see until after I came to the rental desk. It essentially said that not only they do not have the vehicle class I needed - they had NO vehicles to rent. Makes one wonder how the reservation system and KAYAK work.

The car was in good condition

When we arrived, we were told that they did not have a car for us and could not get one. They said we could wait around to see if someone else did not pick up their rental and we could have their car. After waiting for an hour, we were told that we would have to come back to the airport in the morning to pick up a car. Our hotel was over an hour away, so we asked if they would pay for us to stay in a hotel nearby. We were told "no", that we would have to come back at 11am the next day. After paying to get a ride to our hotel and back to the airport, they gave us a measly $35 credit for our trouble. I would ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE rent a car from them again.
