The service and price were exactly what I was looking for. The location is great as well. The car drove great too! I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I would like to know how much the deposit will be on my card up front if at all possible. I do understand that it wasn’t listed on the website therefore was not the fault of anyone at the location that I picked up my car. I will still use this location for my next rental car.

We were given a car that apparently had tire problems - not even 30 miles into our trip, the passenger rear tire blew on a deserted highway - and Avis told us it would be 2 hours before they could even come get us. There was no spare tire, so we couldn't just be on our way. I will never be renting with Avis or Budget again.

Rented a AWD Hyundai Santa Fe for a little over a month. I thought I got a really good value considering the length of the rental and the fact I drove it from Las Cruces, NM, to Rockville, MD. Person there was very helpful.

I am giving them a negative rating for the primary reason they did not cancel a scheduled pick up as they stated they have to me while being in the store. It's caused me numerous inconveniences. Post 1 month, I have yet to get a cancelation email or refund despite having called hertz a few times. Furthermore when I went to the office no one was inside. At the door was a number to call when they aren't in the office. I called the number and the office phone was ringing. I had to exit the hotel, go to the parking lot to find them and advice them they have customers waiting. Outside of that, staff were straightforward, and offered the services appropriately.

The Nissan Kicks is a great car for fuel savings! I don't recommend for more than 2 people for long trips. Short trips or kids in the back seat would be okay. There is little leg room in the back. This particular vehicle had poor shock absorption. You could feel every little bump. It does have plenty of cargo room for a vehicle of its size. I don't recommend for mountain travel. This car has no power for acceleration on steep incline. My only other complaint was the traffic assist. Although I managed to turn them off multiple times, they'd turn themselves back on automatically. This was annoying because you'd set your cruise at 75ish and get behind a vehicle going the same speed. They'd slow down and your car would automatically slow down. Next thing you know, you're going 55 without realizing. Otherwise, the vehicle was great.

Marcos in particular was so helpful, courteous, friendly and polite! He answered all my questions with ease & knowledge! The cargo van we rented was clean and fresh inside. It drove amazing---a 23 hour drive for us to our destination with comfort, excellent gas mileage and very sturdy!! We have absolutely zero complaints with the vehicle and we would rent it again if we need another cargo van to transport our huge cargo load! Highly recommend!

Perhaps if the rental business was open until 5 or 6 PM? Not an issue for me but for other renters it might have been helpful to have those extra hours.

I was given a compact car, and requested an economy at the pick-up location. The workers were not wearing masks at the pick-up location, and the outside of the car was completely dirty (I have pictures). I wanted to return the vehicle two days early, and they wanted to charge me an additional $140-300. I will think twice before renting with Hertz, I've never had so much difficulty and I've tried several car rental agencies.

Getting the car I wanted, clean. Flexibility in dropping off, and interacting with individuals wearing a mask- for everyones safety during a pandemic.

Absolutely nothing about this hertz was enjoyable every time we would show up nobody was in the office and when we called they always said they were “outside cleaning cars” so idk it was very annoying plus they don’t allow debit cards

Customer service and not having me drive back there three times for them to tell me something else I needed instead of just telling me everything I was going to need to even rent

Beware of pickup location when making reservation via kayak. I thought that I had rented from airport location , but found out when went to the airport booth that I had not. It was from a city location. And they didn’t have extra cars at the airport to accommodate the reservation. So I had to Uber to that city location 15 minutes away.

Easy booking with kayak

The Ruidoso Enterprise location is no longer open, however Kayak let me book a rental car from this location. I showed up to pick up and no one was there and the place was basically boarded up. Called the number and was redirected to the Alamogordo location where they informed me that the Ruidoso location was no longer in operation.

KAYAK allowed us to schedule a pickup at a time that the facility was closed! This resulted in great anxiety and interfered with out vacation. Why use this company, especially as it is just a front for another company.
