Service at the desk was efficient and friendly. The condition of the vehicle was deplorable. It had a large crack in the windshield, shook severely on the highway at 100 kms/hr or more, would not shift into all-wheel drive (stuck in 2H), and was overdue for an oil change. I did not feel safe driving this vehicle and it should not have been rented to a customer in the condition it was in. Even if that meant we were to get an upgraded vehicle at no additional costs.

the process was great. Staff were very polite, knowledgeable and helpful with any questions. I had to call in once, shortly after taking possession of the vehicle; i could not get the key out of the ignition. He walked me through a couple of scenarios and we got it resolved. I would definitely rent here again 😊👍

WATCH OUT - when you travel with National @ Thunder Bay with Kayak, you get your car 'slightly' out of the airport, which is no issue, BUT they gave us a car with NO CRUISE CONTROL! when was the last time that happened to you? It was 30 years ago for us... Since you must use highways (Thunder Bay) you really need cruise... When I asked at the counter, they stated: "We don't know about any of our cars"!??
