Pick up was great and has no issues, as I always expect from this company.
While dropping off, the attending associate was rude and unprofessional.

He tried to play by ear and not specific in terms of added tax and final amount. My rental said "tax included", so I didn't get it. He added more than 40% extra in taxes, even 10% extra for the Hotel Sheraton.
Kayak should not advertise "all tax included" when it is not true.
There is not adequate communication about insurance requirements when booking the car. I had car insurance through my trip insurance and was allowed to book with that. When I got to the pickup, I was told I had to obtain expensive insurance from the rental company. When sprung upon me at pickup it feels like extortion. I will never book through this company again.

I reserved a mid-size sedan but they gave ma sub-compact. ThenEurocar forced me to buy their CDW insurance, an expense that was not clearly stated when I made my online reservation and doubled the stated price, and then they told me I had damaged the car and wanted more money, but finally agreed to no extra charges

Would have been better if they had honored my reservation. They “had no cars”. What a joke. This seriously compromised my vacation. And Kayak should provide support for this issue.
