Difficult to book - would have been nice to be able to pick up and drop off at airport.

Flew into Halifax but no cars, had to have one picked up downtown and someone come get me at the airport.

Great service from the fella behind the counter for sure . Very helpful and polite … he deserves a raise .

Car was small and not what ordered. Passenger door would only open on outside. Car had a knock in the steering column and tire pressure was low when picking up vehicle so had to find a gas station with air. Unacceptable and over paid for the car. Will not use budget again or the kayak app

There was an extremely long line of customers waiting to get their cars with only 2 employees working, one of whom was being monitored which slowed her down immensely. The process was made longer due to the questionable requirement of the agent to try to upgrade you to a more expensive car and then to buy extra car insurance. Maybe if you cannot staff adequately you could forgo the extra sales efforts? Or maybe the lady standing there watching could fire up a terminal and get some travelers on their way?

Very accommodating, had no issue at all except at check in, the clerk wanted me to sign the inspection slip of the car without actually going out to inspect the car before leaving.. maybe he was new and that’s ok bc I just advised that we should go look before signing anything..

The price for car rentals is way too high!!

Everything went exactly as it was supposed to. The car we requested was waiting for us when we arrived, check in was quick, and return was simple and easy. A pleasure!

The pick up experience was dreadful. We went the day before we were to pick up our car rental to ensure that everything was in place. We were assured that the mid size car we rented and paid for would be there. When we returned the next day to pick up the car we were told that they only had a compact car available and that we should pay the extra for an SUV that was available. We said no that we wanted the mid size car we rented and paid for. The two attendants wasted 30 minutes trying to convince us to take the SUV. We refused and they finally said they would have to bring the car that we ordered from another location and that would take another 30 minutes. We did not appreciate the attendants wasting our time. The drop off was much less onerous. Dropped the keys left a phone number and email address.

The pick up at the Hollis Ave location in Halifax was hard as kiosk was in hotel with very little signage. Ended up dropping at the Airport. That was fantastic

When I arrived to pickup my car the agency was closed. I had called hertz hours earlier that day to confirm my reservation. Did not get a car I reserved weeks in advance.
