Nice customer service and good car

Difficult to book - would have been nice to be able to pick up and drop off at airport.

We had no issues with Budget. Called the day prior to confirm vehicle would we ready for pick up next morning. We were upgraded to a BMW SUV. The process was smooth. It was expensive but just glad to have secured a vehicle.

The pick up of the car was really bad. No car available when we arrived to pick up the car we had ordered. Then we got the wrong information from the guy renting out the car that made us even later. The car itself was nice but someone had locked it so not possible to connect your phone for listening to music.

My experience with KAYAK was excellent. I ended up cancelling the vehicle I had rented, so I can not comment on the rental experience. Thank you.

There was an extremely long line of customers waiting to get their cars with only 2 employees working, one of whom was being monitored which slowed her down immensely. The process was made longer due to the questionable requirement of the agent to try to upgrade you to a more expensive car and then to buy extra car insurance. Maybe if you cannot staff adequately you could forgo the extra sales efforts? Or maybe the lady standing there watching could fire up a terminal and get some travelers on their way?

Very accommodating, had no issue at all except at check in, the clerk wanted me to sign the inspection slip of the car without actually going out to inspect the car before leaving.. maybe he was new and that’s ok bc I just advised that we should go look before signing anything..

I had thought that I had booked for pickup at airport, instead downtown Halifax and they close at six. I had to pay double at the airport. Not impressed!!

Friendly reception and reliable vehicle. Perhaps a quick overview of the operating controls such as gear shifter location, lights, parking brake would be helpful (the GMC Terrain is a bit unusual).

Staff was excellent, friendly and efficient. The RVR that I was provided was adequate but did not have much pick up for the hilly roads in the valley in which we were staying. Clean car and easy drop.
