The drop off was super easy.

I think I was fooled into paying that ~$23 for a car with gas. I did not use very much gas at all in the <24hrs that I had the car and the gas prices were so cheap in Michigan. I honestly probably used less than $8 worth of gas. I am from California so I did not know any better, I guess.

Fairly easy access and drop off. Got a nice car at a reasonable rate and staff was capable and friendly.

Only wish drop off access was after passenger drop off area so you would not have to drive around the airport loop after dropping off luggage and other passengers.

Sharing the same counter space with another rental company...the other brand had a huge back-lit sign and Alamo had a small square sign placed atop the other sign that you had to know was there to see if you are new to this airport and were looking for the Alamo rental counter.

I ordered a 7 passenger + 3 bags and when I went to pick up vehicle they did not have that particular vehicle. I had a 7 passenger / 1 bag Tahoe and not Suburban. Very disappointing and an uncomfortable journey. Will not rent through Kayak or Hertz...

The minivan fit seven passengers so it worked for our trip but I booked a large SUV which was damaged before our arrival so we were given a minivan in its place.

I was surprised at the poor quality of a nearly brand new minivan compared to our personal 2005 Odyssey with over 130k miles. I'd have much rather driven our older minivan. This vehicle worked for our needs but that was about it. Very insecure on curvy roads and cheap materials that I was concerned would break.

Car was very nice.

Othee charges, such as extra fees, were added that weren’t on the original add. I thought the car was paid for when I booked in line. Not! I was also charged airline fees when I asked if they did airline miles. Too many hidden extra fees if you ask or decline certain items.

HERTZ at GRR DID NOT HAVE MY RESERVATION> I ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY FOR THIS, and had to PAY AVIS for the car they rented me when HERTZ turned me away.I demand a refund.

When I arrived at the airport with my reservation I had to wait over 45 minutes for a vehicle, I was given a huge SUV with 60,000 miles on it with expired license plates and several things wrong with it, the engine light was on, change oil soon, navigation system not working and did I mention it had over 60,000 miles and the windows were filthy dirty. I had to return the car after 48 hours which meant I had to drive over 100 miles. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for the gas for my inconvenience and then it was on my bill, all in all a pretty bad experience other than the people behind the counter at GRR trying to be as helpful as possible.

Last-minute rental gave us a free vehicle upgrade to a beautiful Chevy Malibu--very comfortable and great highway mileage for an unexpected 600-mile drive. Final bill was a bit less than the original expected cost and drop-off/check-out was efficient and hassle-free. Attendant even spotted my credit card in the cup holder and came running to give it to me! Overall, an excellent rental experience!

I rented a sports car, meaning a Dodge Challenger or similar. When I got there, they were going to give me some mid-size 4-door. I told the employee that I paid for a sports car, and he said he knew that, but it didn’t matter because I will take what they give me and they didn’t have any available

The car stunk of cigarettes, windshield wipers were horrible in the rain and the shuttle staff upon dropoff were rude. The streaking impaired visibility to the point of me pulling over to wait out the storm. Not everyone is from the surrounding area, patient shuttle staff would help.

Rented a mini van for a family trip. Had a dodge caravan which was a nice car, well maintained and comfortable. Good gas mileage considering the size of the vehicle.

Limited pick up and drop off staffing. Counter opened late while we waited. Also felt the add on charges brought the price up quite a bit.

I ordered a small SUV which wasn't available. National agent gave me a large NEW SUV and LYING said will all the updates it was great on gas mileage. After an hour was already down 1/4 tank. Played with the buttons and found instead of 30mpg the other would have gotten, I was getting 17mpg. I had 700 miles to drive. Called National and was told to go to nearest airport to exchange. Filled up gas outside of airport (1/2 hour out of way) and called to ask where to park to transfer items to new car. National desk rep said they would not exchange. Would end rental and rent me a new car. I would have to pay for BOTH! After a full on rant by me, the rep finally agreed to give me a tank of gas. Never National again!!

Service at the counter was great, but hours of service didn't match service. I arrived at 12am, no one was there. So I have to take a lift to my hotel, and a lift in the morning back to the airport to pick up my rental. When I share this info with the person at the counter, she say...next time give us your number and name and someone will be here waiting for you. Good to know, that info should be communicated to the customer before hand. So the customer doesn't go through much trouble.

The Avis people were all courteous and helpful. The type of car we reserved was unavailable so they gave us a choice of three for which upgraded vehicle we wanted. Thec return was also smooth and quick.

Bevause of Covid19 thete were few customers and many cars in the return area. The signage told me to park in an area already filled, the signs should have been moved. However the one employee in the return area was very busy with many things to accomplish. I got it figured out fine.
