Cheap Car Rentals in Corsica

The pick up was very disappointing. The woman explained we needed to pay an additional 150 euros to take a hybrid or petrol car. We have never driven a totally electric car and we planned to travel in the north Mountains of Corsica where there are hardly any charging stations. We found none and couldn’t travel far as we couldn’t charge the car. The woman was extremely rude and unhelp I deliberately had NOT booked an electric car. It spoilt our holiday Customers need to be informed about this as it’s very expensive to find this out at the pick up. Until the infrastructure of charging stations is in place this is ridiculous to insist all hire cars are electric

Efficient and friendly staff in both pick in and drop off. The car was brand new and fit well out travel needs. I’m super happy

It took me 3 heures to get my car.! 1 hour of waiting in the hot sun before proceeding . An electrical car was imposed. Got a broken car that was not in her expected parki g and needed to replaced so a new proceeding started. The second car was durty and only 53% charged. I needed to charge it myself. To resum: My rental experience with Herzeas a disaster. This is beyond the "poor" rate one can give

The car I purchased broke down within 30km - the gear box went although it was a new car. The service I then got was the worst I have ever experienced. The numbers given on the card I could not get through to - just message services. When I eventually got help from a local person who had to use his french phone to get through the help was non existent. Waited 2 hours for pick up truck and they only arrived because we took matters into our hands and phoned Renault. I then had a series of different people telling me different things - I had to make all the calls, no one called me back. Staff were very unhelpful. Lack of English didn't help. I will NEVER use Europcar again. I am in the middle of trying to claim money back as I never got another car and had to hire from a different company who were great.

The local rental office did not accepted the reservation we made with Priceline/Kayak. Instead they offered a more expensive contract. Very upsetting.

The price indicated on Kayak and Priceline is significantly different from the price you will have to pay at the counter. Car was clean, but please remember to take pictures of every scratch as their own way of keeping track is rather shady and ambiguous.
