Find SUV Rentals in Reykjavik

The car was exactly what we ordered so we were very happy with that. The only issue was how long we had to wait in line to rent. They did not have that many people at the Reykjavik airport pickup to help. Other than that it was a great experience!

Pick up was a bit confusing, mostly because I misread the email. Would be awesome if there were signs for dollar somewhere in the airport, even if that sign just said to press the pickup button.

Thrifty and Dollar are not in the terminal. You catch the shuttle at the departure side of the airport under the "Meeting Point" sign. Only a 3-4 minute shuttle ride. I think this is the better option than renting in the airport because there is no wait once you get to site and they shuttle you right back to the departure entrance when you're finished. If you rent at airport it is quite a long walk back to terminal from the rental car drop-off, with luggage, and they do get a bit of rain in Iceland ' ). Keep their phone number handy so you can call if they're not yet at the Meeting Point when you're ready.

Taking up and giving back the car didn’t take much time. The car was quite new (11K km), driving it was very comfortable. One of the best car rental experience.

Very satisfied with it. Made the big mistake of renting from another company and despaired until this.

Daniel went out of his way to help with paperwork, driving directions, dropping off, etc. We got great mileage and car drove fine
