The car itself had a faulty cigarette lighter so we couldn't charge the phones, a trunk that came open 5-7 times on our trip, and we were charged extra for cleaning when this is the norm when going to Copan Ruinas as the roads are mud and fi

They require you purchase their rental insurance, even though 1) when I made my reservation I declined their insurance and 2) I already have excellent rental car insurance through American Express and showed proof of this insurance when I checked in.

The pick-up was kind of difficult because we were given the wrong car and the same price increased a couple hundred dollars with insurance and taxes. A deposit is also required. The overall car was very nice!

Car was not available and had to rent from a different company. Representative at the reception area was poorly trained in customer service. Was told they did not have my reservation/confirmation in their system so therefore I had to make a new reservation for a new car rental with a different price than the one I had gotten originally. After paying expensive taxi rides and hotel to get my rental from Payless I was told that there was no reservation and that there were no cars available anyway. In a very rudely and inconsiderate way. I was helpless and far away from my final destination until someone from a different car rental helped me and found me a rental.
