The cost of the rental ended up being twice what we were quoted through Kayak because of a mandatory insurance charge. Upon return they charged us an additional $40 for them to vacuum sand from the cars floor. Both pick up and return were painfully slow like the staff had never been through the process before. I would never recommend this to anyone. You failed us Kayak.

The rate is very low but you have to insure your car trough them! In order not to take their insurance, which cost 10X the rent of the car, is to bring a letter signed by Credit Card company taking care of the insurance (not the Credt Card contract - a specific letter) & THEN they will charge the total price of the car until is return. It's very sad that they promote this car company - KAYAK please stop promoting them!

The staff was very friendly and flexible on pickup and drop off times.

We chose this group because of listed price. What was buried in the fine print was a requirement to purchase liability insurance that costed more than the rental itself. It was misleading to show the base price only—we would have gone with a different group had we known. If this is standard, then the listing should show that additional insurance fees may apply, and point the consumer directly to the added costs. It was misleading to be so obscure and hidden.

The staff did not have a car for me and then all of the sudden they found a car that was below what i paid for and smelled pretty bad.

I was quoted 30$ for 9 days which seemed really low but then that was the cost was the coat for only 1 day. I went to drop off the can at the exact time i had planned and there was no one at the office. I called they number on the paperwork and the person who answered did not speak any english and told me in spanish to meet him at the aitport where they dont have an office or desk. He was 15 minites late and luckily my flight was delayed so everything worked out. DONT USE GREEN MOTION IN ZIHUATANEJO

Upon arrival to the airport, I was notified that my reservation couldnt be filled as the car was already rented out to another customer. I had to scramble to find the last car available at the airport and ended up paying a ton!

Not keep on asking for a tip. Safety. One tire on the left rear was cracked on the sidewall very bad.

Car was newer and in ok shape.

Please be aware that taxes are an extra 35% on top of the agreed to price. Plus the very expensive insurance they make you buy. You might as well double the rate on the rental.

They don't tell you the insurance cost 5 times the rental fee. In other words, I was quoted an online rental fee of around $106. Then I was told at point of purchase, the counter that the insurance on top of that would be an additional $400.

guys at the counter tried to charge me another $160 for the rental. I had the paperwork with what we were to pay. Told them no way. Went across the street and got a car from a private party.

Hertz reserved a luxury car for me, upon arrival they did not have a luxury car available, They only had a compact car and tried to charge me the same as a luxury car. Additionally hertz was charging me $600 additional US dollars for a total of $1,100 for a 1 week rental. I went to save u car for a total of $400 per week rental for a VW Vento including full insurance. Plus Herrz representative was rude & unprofessional. Will never consider Hertz ever again.

The person we dealt with was very nice.

Car was in pretty poor condition. Person who handled our rental was very nice but seemed to work on commission and therefore tried to up sell us by literally 800 hundred dollars.

Even though I had a reservation and confermation #, when I got there they told me that they are out of cars - never got to rent the car and had to take taxi. This is going to be the last time I will rent from Hertz!!!!
