Car was ready, clean and we were on the road fast.

The car rental company overbooked the office. Despite that, confirmation emails were sent repeatedly - the last one 24 hours before the pickup. When arriving at the office (by taxi) I was told that there is no car available, and no alternatives or compensation could be offered. In the end the booking can be regarded as "cheap talk" and ended up costing me money for absolutely nothing in return.

Rental was as described except it was in rough condition. Lots of small body damage, and missing rear hatch handle a rear window wiper.

I made a reservation through your site and there was no car when I got there. I am under the impression that the entire point of your business is to make reservations as I have never seen a plane, hotel, or car with “Kayak.com” printed anywhere on these things making you guys a 3rd party reservation company. If your only business is to make it easier for me to compare prices and then make a reservation, and then the reservation is not honored by the company’s you partner with it would seem to me that in reality you do very little to make travelers lives easier and, in fact make them much more complicated when people arrive at their destination in some foreign country and have to battle with their phones in attempts to correct the very thing you claim to be the primary reason for your businesses existence. I would get it if say I tried to book tennis lessons through kayak as I have never seen tennis lessons offered through kayak but when it comes to flights, hotels, and cars I would have assumed you had that dialed in. Apparently I was wrong. Think about it for a second or two.

No problems everything good

Impossible to use my own insurance wasted my time and I ended up getting a car from Enterprise

1. It's not *at* the airport, so you need to take a 10 minute shuttle. 2. Shuttle appears regularly and was comfy and A/C'd. 3. They hard-sell you additional insurance and EZPass daily charges at checkout. It ended up adding about 20% to our total which completely negated going for an "off-airport" place. I *knew* I should have been more forceful, but the attendant was asking for my full policy papers and there was a line behind me and I had just come off a long flight, so they count on you just giving up. Grrrrr.

We had a flat tire and the response was the best I could have asked for.

We rented a really small car (Kia Picanto). The car had about 30k km driven, was clean and got us around. Only minor issue was fuel indicator which apparently broke (was showing 1/4 less). Paid around EUR 600 for 14 days, inclusive of basic insurance and a child seat. If you travel to the Basse Terre part of Guadeloupe, consider renting something more powerful - I had to keep the engine in high revs all the time to make it up the hills, sometimes even in 1st gear :). Otherwise it just didn't go. Also the car has a rather low ground clearance, so we had to be super careful on desolate roads. The staff at the rental point was really friendly and helpful. I was short on time when returning the car, they arranged a shuttle just for me to get me to airport quickly. During pick-up/drop-off, there was always someone who spoke some English (I barely speak any French, so that helped a lot). Note: The rental place is not located in walking distance from the terminals, at least not with baggage. It's in the vicinity of the terminals, <1 km away. There's a shuttle going between the rental place and the airport. Almost all the rentals are at basically the same place, if confused, just ask for "location de voitures" and you're likely to arrive at the right place :).

When I arrived the vehicle was already delivered to someone else

The size car we paid for was unavailable so we ended up in a small car instead. And due to that it was a waste of money because we were overcharged.

Facilities and service onsite were great. Pickup process at airport was a little confusing at first, but impact was minimal. Everything was done quickly and as expected.

The service was very good and flexible in trying to meet our needs. Staff were helpful with good advise. No real improvements, would certainly use the service again.

No transportation from airport to location.

They communicated well, they worked as fast as they could, the car was very clean. The process was a little slower than other rentals I’ve done in the past, but it wasn’t because they weren’t trying! Just a lot of papers and stuff to go over. There was only one person there each time, so make sure you leave enough time to check out. Don’t go last minute before your flight! Checkout was quicker than check in. Everyone was very nice, helpful, and as efficient as they could be given the process.

Everything was fine

Had to wait 15-20 minutes for pick-up from airport. Also, car did not have a full tank of gas when delivered which makes it complicated to return with same level of gas. Beyond that, staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Would rent from them again.
